Eastern Visayas State University implements a 4-day on-site work schedule (Monday–Thursday) and Work-from-Home on Fridays, effective March 9, 2026, in compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026 and in support of national energy conservation efforts.

In line with this, the Compressed Work Week will also take effect to ensure continuous delivery of services and productivity within the adjusted schedule.

Classes will remain face-to-face from Monday to Thursday, while Friday classes will be conducted asynchronously or online, except for courses requiring hands-on laboratory activities.

Please be guided accordingly.

As we make these institutional adjustments in response to the ongoing global geopolitical tensions, we humbly ask the entire EVSU family to take a moment with us to pray for peace. May compassion and understanding guide our global leaders to resolve conflicts, and may stability, safety, and healing be swiftly restored to our world.

ATTENTION EVSU STUDENTS -

When submitting your FHE, please observe the following:

1. Print 2 copies and have them signed by you and your parent/
guardian.

2. Fill out the FHE/Opt-Out Form correctly:

> Term: 2nd Sem., AY 2025-2026

> Status: Free Education or Opt-Out if paying student

> Year Level: Your current standing

> Contact Number of Parent/Guardian (active mobile number)

Graduating students, please ensure your year level is corrected to 4th year if it still shows as 3rd year.

Check your status, as to the following:

> Returnee: If you stopped schooling and are returning.
File for a student clearance as Returnee.

> Shiftee: If you will be accepted to another program this
semester. File also a student clearance as Shiftee.

> Continuing: If you were enrolled last 1st Semester,
AY 2025-2026. No clearance needed.

As usual, submit the FHE form to your enrolling teacher. Be

reminded that submitting your FHE does not automatically give

you the status of being officially enrolled. It still goes through a

process. The enrolling teacher will enroll your subjects, print the

CORs, and have them signed by the department heads and deans

of colleges. These documents will then be transmitted to the

Registrar's Office. You will only be officially registered once this

process is completed.

The student copy of the COR and FHE will only be forwarded to

your respective departments once these are officially registered by

the Registrar's Office.

𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Work and Class Arrangements ahead of Tropical Storm Tino

In light of the expected landfall of Tropical Storm Tino in Eastern Visayas on November 3 or 4, and following the recommendation of the EVSU DRRM Committee, the University will implement adjusted work and class arrangements across all campuses:

- Classes will shift to asynchronous mode from Monday to Wednesday.

- Employees are requested to report onsite on Monday, Nov. 3 to secure offices and prepare for WFH setup.

- Work-From-Home arrangement begins Tuesday, Nov. 4, except for DRRM and security personnel who remain onsite for monitoring and response.

-The DRRM Committee is tasked to prepare campus-specific evacuation plans and ensure the readiness of emergency response measures.

Everyone is advised to take precautionary measures for safety.

Please stay alert and follow all safety protocols.
