Following the message of Mr. Samson, Dr. Emilia G. Cayabyab, Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS), delivered an inspirational message. She motivated the teachers to excel in their profession, remain committed to their responsibilities, and continuously strive to provide quality education to their learners.
Following the inspirational messages, Mr. Jedrick E. De Luna, Administrative Officer II, facilitated the main discussion. The session focused on various Human Resource (HR) processes and administrative concerns relevant to teachers and school personnel.
The topics discussed included Expanded Career Progression (ECP), Leave Benefits, PVP, Absenteeism and Tardiness, Service Records, and Loan Verification. The discussion provided participants with practical information regarding personnel processes, documentary requirements, and administrative procedures relevant to their service.
The session also included a discussion on the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS), providing participants with relevant information concerning the management and utilization of learning resources in support of teaching and learning.
Overall, Day 1 of the INSET was meaningful, informative, and relevant to the professional needs of the participants. The activity provided an avenue for teachers and administrative personnel to strengthen their understanding of HR processes while being reminded of the importance of professional growth and continuous learning.
