Sampad Elementary School strengthened its home-school partnership through the conduct of the Term 1 Homeroom Parent-Teacher Conference and PTA Meeting, highlighted by the issuance of learners’ Term 1 Report Cards and meaningful discussions on policies, programs, and initiatives supporting learner development and well-being.
Among the key matters discussed were the Learner’s Handbook, including provisions on anti-bullying in accordance with Republic Act No. 10627 or the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013; proper teacher-parent communication; and the follow-up of learner documents. Parents were likewise oriented on DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, which provides the revised guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition for the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
The meeting also highlighted the implementation of the ARAL Program for literacy and numeracy remediation, learners’ progress, Science activities, SOSA, Teachers’ Month Celebration, and other school programs and projects, including the School-Based Feeding Program and other DepEd initiatives aimed at promoting learners’ holistic development.
More than the sharing of grades and school updates, the gathering reaffirmed the shared responsibility of teachers, parents, and the school community in ensuring that every learner is safe, supported, and given meaningful opportunities to grow and succeed.
