🎉 A meaningful ending to a remarkable journey!

Today marks the successful completion of the Basic Bag Making Training Program – Batch 5, the final batch under the 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀 𝐓𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐡𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐓𝐓𝐒𝐏) conducted by Pilipinas Ang Galing Training and Assessment Center Inc.

For five days, our trainees transformed their dedication, creativity, and perseverance into practical skills in bag making. From learning the fundamentals to completing quality bags, each participant has taken a significant step toward greater livelihood opportunities and self-reliance.

As we conclude this final batch, we celebrate not only the bags that were created but also the confidence, friendships, and dreams that were built throughout the training.

Knowing how to make a quality bag is only the beginning—understanding its value is what turns a skill into a sustainable livelihood.

On Day 4 of the Basic Bag Making Training Program, our trainees learned the fundamentals of Product Costing, including how to compute the cost of raw materials, labor, overhead expenses, and profit margin to determine a fair and competitive selling price.

By mastering product costing, participants are better equipped to produce quality bags, make informed business decisions, and confidently take their first steps toward entrepreneurship.

Day 3 marked another exciting milestone as our trainees learned the bag assembly process—bringing together the different cut components into a complete and functional bag. Through careful alignment, precise stitching, and proper assembly techniques, participants gained hands-on experience in transforming individual pieces into quality products.

Every stitch reflects patience, precision, and determination. As they continue to develop their skills, our trainees are becoming more confident and better equipped for future livelihood opportunities.

The visit highlighted the Center's commitment to developing skilled individuals through its 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗮𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, showcasing its role in promoting craftsmanship, livelihood opportunities, and entrepreneurship.

The visit also provided an opportunity to observe the Center's training facilities, engage with trainers and trainees, and recognize its contribution to strengthening the local bags and leather goods industry through quality technical education and skills development.

Today marks the first day of Batch 5 of our Basic Bag Making Training, where our trainees take their first step toward acquiring valuable skills in bag making and entrepreneurship.

The session focused on orientation, workplace safety, introduction to bag-making tools and materials, and the fundamentals of bag construction. Every stitch and every lesson learned today brings our trainees one step closer to creating quality products and opening new livelihood opportunities.

Today, our Batch 4 trainees proudly showcased the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout the Basic Bag Making Training. From understanding bag patterns and material preparation to cutting, stitching, assembling, finishing, and product costing, each trainee has demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to producing quality craftsmanship.

This final day is more than just the end of a training—it is the beginning of new opportunities. We hope that the knowledge and experience gained will empower our graduates to pursue employment, start their own bag-making business, and contribute to their families and communities.

Day 4 focused on one of the most important skills in bagmaking—Product Costing.

Our trainees learned how to accurately compute the cost of materials, labor, and overhead to determine the right selling price while ensuring quality and profitability. Every bag is not just crafted with skill, but also with smart planning and proper costing.
