Our learners wore their smiles as proudly as they slipped into their new uniforms, each grin a quiet celebration of confidence, belonging, and readiness to learn.

Today we celebrate a generous act of kindness from our stakeholder, Mr. Richard Barangan Noel, whose gift has given our students not just clothing but renewed self esteem and a stronger sense of community. We are deeply grateful to Ma’am Alonzo Jinky and her tailoring students for crafting each uniform with care and dedication.

The distribution was headed by our School Principal, Dr. Dexter Wamar, together with Ma’am Jinky, head of Project STITCHES, and her crafty tailoring students, whose teamwork made this moment possible.

This thoughtful support strengthens our school community and reminds every child that they are seen, valued, and supported on their learning journey.

📢❗🚨 Duck, Cover, and Hold!

Orderly evacuation and proper response techniques were carried out with care and unity by the school community of Valencia National Vocational High School during the earthquake drill, reflecting a shared commitment to safety and readiness.

After the activity, important reminders were delivered by the School Principal, Dr. Dexter C. Wamar followed by a discussion from the DRRM Coordinator, Mr. Brandon V. Dayagbil where appropriate earthquake safety protocols and response guidelines were clearly explained. A short but meaningful session on basic life support was also provided by Mr. Dawson C. Cui, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and lifesaving knowledge.

🌿Wellness Talks🧠

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Yvette Enriques-Lawas and the nurses from the Division Office for leading our learners in meaningful discussions on nutrition, hygiene, stress management, emotional awareness, and positive relationships.

These sessions reminded us that genuine wellness goes beyond learning. It is a way of living built on balance, resilience, and care.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥: 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 💧

Carcar Water District (CWD), in partnership with the Performance Enhancement Water Utilities Philippines (PEWUP) and the AFAS Foundation, officially turned over handwashing facilities to our school. This milestone strengthens the Department of Education’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools (WINS) Program and stands as a symbol of health, service, and shared responsibility. It reflects the power of community convergence, where government, schools, and partners unite so that learners benefit. With clean water and safe spaces, our students are empowered to practice proper hygiene, embrace personal responsibility, and build good habits that lead to success.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to CWD top management including Atty. Edward L. Remo, Atty. Ra Solomon Enriquez, Mrs. Eddies C. Inot, and Mrs. Sheille A. Pangalao, together with the Division Managers, Propoor Teams, BOD Members, and PEWUP representatives. We also recognize with deep appreciation the presence and support of Barangay Captain Vicente W. Saraum and Councilor Liezel T. Tingson, whose leadership strengthens our community’s commitment to health and safety. This meaningful event was further blessed by the presence of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Cartesa M. Perico and Public Schools District Supervisor Jessabeth L. Ramos, and witnessed by the faculty, staff, and learners of VNVHS.

Our school principal, Dr. Dexter C. Wamar, expressed his gratitude to all partners for believing in the students and affirming that they are truly deserving of this support. His message reflects the lasting impact of this turnover and the shared vision of nurturing healthier, more disciplined, and successful individuals.

Because of your support, our learners can thrive in a clean and safe environment, reminded every day to wash hands, stay healthy, and keep dreaming big.
