BSP and GSP Encampment Concludes Successfully at JEMNHS

The Closing Program of the BSP and GSP Encampment was successfully held at Juana Enriquez Macalalag National High School, marking the culmination of days filled with leadership training, teamwork activities, and character-building exercises.
The encampment gathered members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), who actively participated in various outdoor activities, drills, and skill-based challenges designed to enhance discipline, cooperation, and self-reliance.

During the closing ceremony, outstanding scouts were recognized for their exemplary performance and dedication throughout the event. Scout leaders expressed their appreciation to the participants, organizers, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the encampment.

The activity not only strengthened camaraderie among scouts but also reinforced the core values of scouting — leadership, service, and responsibility. Due to the Orange Rainfall Warning, face-to-face classes in all levels in public schools in Carcar City are suspended on February 10, 2026 (Tuesday). For private schools, the suspension of classes shall be at the discretion of their respective administrations.

Schools are encouraged to implement Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) to ensure the continuous delivery of learning while prioritizing the safety of students and personnel.

The City Government of Carcar advises everyone to remain vigilant, stay indoors when possible, and monitor official announcements for further updates.
