Day 2 of our Youth Week became a meaningful chapter of growth as we gathered for the program โ€œCoping Strategies for Teens.โ€ Held on March 17, 2026, the day unfolded as a safe space where students were encouraged to reflect, open up, and better understand their emotions. Guided by the insightful discussion of Mr. Antonio S. Medalle Jr., RN, Mental Health Division Focal Person, we were reminded that challenges are part of our journeyโ€”and that learning how to cope is a strength, not a weakness.

More than just a seminar, it was a moment of connection and realization, where every story mattered and every voice was heard. Day 2 was not only about learning strategies, but about building resilience together as one community.

The activity was actively participated in by Grade 10 and Grade 12 students, providing them with a meaningful opportunity for spiritual reflection and personal growth.

The recollection aimed to guide students in discovering their identity through Christ while learning how to live responsibly and faithfully in todayโ€™s digital generation. Barkada Kontra Droga Organization of Hunob National High School successfully conducted the FRRS โ€“ Friday Read and Reflect Session for the month of February in collaboration with the School Governance Council (SGC) and SSLG Organization.

This monthโ€™s session became even more meaningful as the program was extended to selected incoming Grade 6 learners who are in need of improvement in their reading and writing skills. Through guided reading activities, reflective exercises, and interactive discussions, the learners were given the opportunity to enhance their comprehension, writing ability, and overall confidence in literacy. The initiative aims to nurture young readers and writers while preparing them for a smooth transition to junior high school.

Today, the Hunob National High School community successfully conducted its much-awaited Meeting de Avance and SSLG Voting for the upcoming student leaders. This meaningful event served as a platform for candidates from HERO PARTY and OPPA PARTY to present their visions, platforms, and commitments to the student body.

The Meeting de Avance allowed every candidate to confidently share their goals and advocacies, empowering students to make wise and informed decisions. It was not only a showcase of leadership and teamwork, but also a celebration of democracy within our school.
