After two days of suspension due to the poor air quality affecting Metro Cebu, face-to-face classes will resume tomorrow, September 23, 2026 (Wednesday).

Let us continue to learn, grow, and make every day meaningful.

📢 SUSPENSION OF FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES

Due to the continuing air quality concerns affecting Metro Cebu, the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels is hereby extended to Tuesday, September 22, 2026, until further notice.

Classes will shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) during the suspension period. Learners are advised to coordinate with their teachers and follow the learning activities and instructions provided.

Everyone is advised to:
• Limit outdoor activities as much as possible.
• Keep doors and windows closed when appropriate.
• Wear an N95 or well-fitting mask in going outdoors is necessary.
• Stay indoors, keep hydrated, and take necessary precautions to protect your health.

Please stay safe and continue to monitor your respective Group Chats (GCs) for further announcements and updates.

Suspension of Face-to-Face Classes

Due to the current air quality situation affecting Metro Cebu, face-to-face classes at all levels will be suspended tomorrow, September 21, 2026.

Limit outdoor activities, keep windows closed, and wear an N95 or well-fitting mask if you need to step outside.

Stay safe indoors, stay hydrated, and take care of your lungs!

2-DAY IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS (INSET) 2026

A meaningful and productive 2-Day In-Service Training for Teachers (INSET) was successfully conducted with the participation of the Cluster 3 Elementary Schools—Calidngan ES, Lunas ES, Pit-os ES, and Sacsac IS—hosted by Calidngan Elementary School at the CES Conference Hall.

The engagement was honored by the presence of the Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Leah P. Noveras, who graced the first hour of Day 1 together with other dedicated Division personnel, inspiring teachers toward continuous professional growth and excellence.

The success of this 2-day INSET was made possible through the collective effort and cooperation of everyone involved—the Cluster Technical Working Group (School Heads and Master Teachers), and all participating teachers.

Special appreciation goes to our PD Focal Person and School Head of Calidngan ES, Mrs. Jhenny Rose T. Hernaez, for her leadership and support. We likewise extend our sincere gratitude to our “Mother of Cluster 3,” Mrs. Rizalina T. Flores, for her constant guidance and encouragement throughout the engagement.

To all our cooperative and committed participants, thank you for making learning, collaboration, and professional growth truly meaningful.

Our heartfelt appreciation to our PSDS, Mrs Rizalina Tecson Flores; former School Head, Mr. Alvin Manayaga Dela Cerna; and ALS Master Teacher I, Mr. Mario Daclan, for generously serving as our judges. We are also grateful to all the parents who took time to attend and support this special event for our learners. “Building Unity, Inspiring Excellence, and Promoting Sportsmanship through Sports.”

What a day of energy, excitement, teamwork, and school spirit! PLAYDAY 2026 at Calidngan Elementary School brought our learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders together in a meaningful celebration of sports and camaraderie.

The day was filled with fun and excitement as we introduced our new Drum & Lyre Corps, enjoyed the Grand Parade that showed our unity and school spirit, joined in exciting games that promoted teamwork and sportsmanship, and celebrated the selection of Mr. & Ms. PLAYDAY 2026, highlighting the talents, confidence, and good character of our learners.

PLAYDAY 2026 reminded us that every game is an opportunity to learn, every challenge builds character, and every team creates stronger bonds.

Together, we build unity, inspire excellence, and promote sportsmanship through sports!
