𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 is officially underway at Caramoan Community College, bringing together 𝗦𝗞, 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚, 𝗦𝗦𝗖, and 𝗖𝗦𝗖 for two days, March 23-24, 2026. Officers from Bikal Fisheries School stands tall, representing the voice and vision of student leaders ready to ignite transformative governance.

“Public service is not about power and getting rich. It is all about suffering and attacks from all corners, but it is also a joy— the joy of introducing reforms, the joy of touching people and the joy of teaching them new ways of thinking and serving people.”

Leading contains hardships; it is not easy to command, to gain respect, and to take control of everything because leading the way is not a privilege, it is a responsibility.

In this event, Bikal Fisheries School Leaders took home the award for Best in Budgeting and Resource Management – their smart planning definitely paid off!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 is officially underway at Caramoan Community College, bringing together 𝗦𝗞, 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚, 𝗦𝗦𝗖, and 𝗖𝗦𝗖 leaders from across the region. Proudly at the center of this historic gathering, 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 stands tall, representing the voice and vision of student leaders ready to ignite transformative governance.

Being part of this event feels like standing at the frontlines of change. Every discussion, every workshop, and every collaboration reminds us that leadership is not just about titles, it’s about action, courage, and service. 𝘼𝙨 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨, 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙠 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙤𝙩𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨.

The atmosphere is electric! Ideas are flowing, friendships are forming, and networks are being built that will last beyond these two days. We can already see how these conversations will ripple outward, into our classrooms, barangays, and the wider community.

As Peter Drucker said, “𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙞𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣’𝙨 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨, 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨.” That’s the kind of leadership we’re striving for as SSLG officers.

Today is just the beginning. Tomorrow and the days ahead, the lessons we carry from this convergence will shape how we lead with integrity, creativity, and unity. It’s a commitment to be part of a movement that empowers youth voices and strengthens governance from the campus to the community.

𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐳, 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, brings home the 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for 𝐃𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 after today's District Federation Secondary Schools Learner Government Election held at 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐃. 𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥.

Benavidez represented our school with excellence, alongside other SSLG Presidents from various schools. The event showcased the dedication and leadership of student leaders from across the district.
