Yesterday, July 19, 2026, the DFSSLG Officers of Northern Samar, together with the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers from various schools across the Division of Northern Samar, gathered virtually through Zoom for an enriching learning session dedicated to empowering student leaders.
The session focused on vital topics such as bullying and its consequences, leadership, the significance of Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs), strategic planning, implementation techniques, and other essential matters that strengthen our ability to lead with purpose and serve with integrity.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our esteemed resource speakers, Sir Andrew Montejo and Sir Emmanuel Portajada, for sharing not only your knowledge and expertise but also your passion for developing young leaders. Your insights have reminded us that true leadership begins with compassion, accountability, and the courage to create positive change.
This learning experience is more than just another seminarβit is a reminder that every student leader has the power to make a lasting impact. As we return to our respective schools, we carry with us new ideas, renewed purpose, and a stronger commitment to building campuses where every learner feels safe, respected, and empowered.
Together, let us continue to lead with humility, serve with excellence, and inspire change, because the leaders of today are shaping the future of tomorrow.
Together, we learn. Together, we lead. Together, we make a difference.
