Libertad National High School successfully conducted the 2026 Senior High School Summit -cum- Skills Expo and Career Guidance, gathering Grade 10, 11, and 12 students for a celebration of skills, service, and career opportunities.

The summit officially commenced with a Tree Planting and Coastal Clean-Up Drive in partnership with the Barangay Libertad Council. Spearheaded by Grade 12 students and LNHS teachers, the environmental initiative set a meaningful tone for the event, highlighting the school’s commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility.

The second day opened with a lively parade that energized the campus community. This was immediately followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony, formally launching the exhibit and entrepreneurship bazaar. The exhibit featured the full-blown research papers of Grade 12 students, as well as paintings and other outputs from various SHS subjects, showcasing the learners’ academic excellence and creativity. Grade 11 students also took center stage as they presented their booth installations as practical applications of their Entrepreneurship lessons, providing snacks and services during the activity. Simultaneously, Grade 10 and Grade 12 students participated in Career Guidance sessions aimed at helping them make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

One of the program’s highlights was the Senior High School Curriculum Exit Discussion delivered by SHS Coordinator, Mr. Charles Martin Perez, who provided a clear overview of the different exit pathways available to graduates, including higher education, employment, middle-level skills development, and entrepreneurship.

The event was further enriched by career talks from representatives of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), represented by Mrs. Riza Procia and Mrs. Eunilyn Naadat; the Philippine National Police (PNP), represented by PLT Sergio Llaneta III, Officer-in-Charge, and PSSg. Vincent Alcabire; along with Hon. Romeo Roda, Barangay Chairman of Libertad. Their insights provided students with valuable information on career opportunities, public service, and professional growth.

Adding inspiration to the summit were success stories shared by Ms. Azairah Mison and Mr. Dhanshane Sintos, both Grade 12 students, emphasizing perseverance, dedication, and self-confidence. Students also rendered a traditional dance presentation, proudly showcasing their cultural talents and performance skills.

The day concluded with a mock job interview for Grade 12 students, facilitated by Senior High School teachers, giving them hands-on experience and practical preparation for future employment.

As 2025 comes to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the journey our school has faced this year. There were challenges that tested our patience, moments that stretched our limits, and obstacles that seemed insurmountable but through it all, God’s blessings shone brightly.

Today, we celebrate and give thanks with a Holy Mass a beautiful reminder that no matter the struggles, we are guided, protected, and strengthened. This year has taught us resilience, unity, and the power of hope.

As we end the year and step into the Christmas season, let us carry with us the lessons we’ve learned, the gratitude in our hearts, and the courage to face a new year with faith and determination. Here’s to embracing every challenge as a blessing and every blessing as a call to greater purpose. 🙏✨

A heartfelt thank you to Father Chris, our beloved celebrant, for leading us in a meaningful and inspiring Holy Mass as we close the year 2025.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Sir Benjie Tonolete Pecolera, our school head, for sponsoring this beautiful celebration.
