The School for Candidate Soldier proudly congratulates the graduates of Candidate Soldier Course Class 796-2024 for successfully completing their rigorous military training under the Philippine Army's Candidate Soldier training program.

After months of intensive instruction, physical endurance tests,and values formation these individuals have transformed from civilian into disciplined and mission ready soldiers, now prepared to take on the sacred duty of defending the nation under the Hukbong Katihan ng Pilipinas.

This graduation ceremony marks not only the end of thier training, but the beginning of a life of service, sacrifice , and commitment to the filipino people. let us welcome Class 796-2024 as they take their first steps into a life of honor and service.

The Philippine Army Officer Candidate School honors the life of P2LT Renz John B Berte PA of OCC “BUMANNAWAG” CL 63-2025, a dedicated Officer Candidate whose passion, strength, and unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He passed away while undergoing training. Though his time with us was far too short, his commitment, courage, and kindness inspired us every day.

P2LT Renz John B Berte PA faced each challenge with determination and heart. He lifted those around them, brought light into even the hardest moments, and exemplified what it truly means to serve with purpose.

Lieutenant Colonel Conny Amor S. Bartolome is the First Female Helicopter Pilot in the Philippine Army. She started her flying career in Army Aviation as a fixed-wing pilot before shifting as rotary wing pilot of piston and turbine engine helicopters.

Lieutenant Colonel Bartolome currently holds the Command Army Aviator Rating. She also holds the distinction of being the first and only female aviator in the Army to receive the Distinguished Aviation Cross for her significant role as one of the pilots of Cessna 172 aircraft during the Marawi Crisis in 2017.
