The Marian Exhibit, which took place on October 8 at Multi Purpose Hall, featured the magnificent Our Lady of Sorrows (also known as Mater Dolorosa), which depicted the incredible power of the Virgin Mary.
With seven swords piercing her heart, her figure represents the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Her image is brought by the immense strength and unbreakable faith that she bears while witnessing the passion of her son, Jesus Christ. She is considered worldwide as a figure of empathyโdespite her figure as a portrayal of griefโproviding comfort to those who have experienced loss and hardship.
Mater Dolorosa reminds us that we can still find remarkable persistence and grace, even in the most difficult times.
