My name is **Adriel Luis M. Gonzales**. I am 17 years old and a student at Wellspring High School.

I enrolled in Kumon to strengthen my mathematics skills. Back in elementary school, I struggled with math, and my grades were not where I wanted them to be. Because of this, my mother and I decided that Kumon would help me build a stronger foundation.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was staying consistent. Balancing school, Kumon, and my personal life was not always easy, especially since I get distracted easily. There were times when the workload felt overwhelming, but I learned to take things one step at a time. Whenever I encountered something I didn't understand, I asked my instructors for guidance. Instead of giving up, I broke difficult tasks into smaller, manageable steps until I completed them.

Through this journey, Kumon taught me perseverance, time management, discipline, and self-confidence. More importantly, it gave me a solid mathematical foundation that made my high school lessons much easier to understand and follow.

Completing the Kumon Mathematics Program is one of my proudest achievements. After years of solving worksheets, mastering concepts, and learning advanced topics that once seemed impossible, I can honestly say that all the hard work was worth it. Looking back, I am proud of how far I have come.

To my fellow Kumon students, never give up. As Thomas Edison once said, *"Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration."* Talent alone is not enough. Success comes from hard work, consistency, and perseverance.

Finally, I would like to thank my parents for their unwavering support throughout my Kumon journey, my instructors for their patience and guidance, and my friends for encouraging me to keep going every step of the way. I am truly grateful to all of you for being part of this wonderful journey!

Meet Our Latest Kumon Reading Completer!

Aranguren Integrated School (AIS)

I enrolled in Kumon when I was 13 years old while studying at Aranguren Integrated School (AIS). I wanted to improve my grammar and reading comprehension because I often found it difficult to understand passages, write essays and paragraphs, and learn unfamiliar words.

My Kumon journey was not always easy. One of my biggest challenges was understanding difficult vocabulary and lengthy reading passages. Balancing Kumon with my busy school schedule was also a challenge.

Despite these difficulties, I stayed committed. I made time to study new words, improve my reading comprehension, and complete my Kumon worksheets consistently.

Through Kumon, I learned valuable life skills such as time management, responsibility, perseverance, and confidence in my own abilities. These lessons have helped me not only in Kumon but also in my schoolwork.

As the years went by, Kumon greatly improved my reading comprehension and expanded my vocabulary. Because of these improvements, I earned several school awards and certificates, including achievements in spelling competitions and essay writing. I also became more confident in joining school clubs and participating in various school activities.

I am deeply grateful to my parents, Mr. Marju Cariño and Mrs. Lizel Cariño, for introducing me to Kumon and for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout my learning journey.

To my fellow students: Keep going, even when the lessons become challenging. Every worksheet you complete brings you one step closer to becoming a more confident, capable, and independent learner.
