Capalonga National High School proudly kicked off Brigada Eskwela 2026 with the theme: β Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalamanβ showcasing the true spirit of bayanihan and community partnership in support of quality education.
The success of this meaningful endeavor was made possible through the unwavering support and commitment of the Barangay Council of Catioan, spearheaded by Hon. Punong Barangay Leslie B. Esturas, ChairmanβCommittee on Education Hon. Anita F. Bacuel, and SK President Hon. Jessie E. Amado. Their dedication to promoting education and community development continues to inspire collective action for the welfare of our learners.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the SPTA Officers led by President Jojit P. Project BIDA: Bullying ay Iwasan, Droga ay Ayawan was successfully conducted on March 16, 2026, at Capalonga National High School. This meaningful activity aimed to raise awareness among learners about the dangers of bullying and illegal drugs, while promoting a safe, respectful, and drug-free school environment.
Our sincere gratitude to the Capalonga Municipal Police Station, spearheaded by their Acting Chief of Police, Police Captain Joselito R. Jueves, for their strong support in making this symposium possible. Special thanks to our resource speakers, PSSg Bernadette Indias and PSSg Mark Kristian N. Aure, for sharing their valuable knowledge and guiding our learners to become responsible and well-disciplined citizens.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the proponent of this activity, Sir Ramon E. Ravida, for initiating this important program. Likewise, thank you to all teachers and learners who actively participated and contributed to the success of the symposium.

The School Head of Capalonga National High School, Sir Bam Alzula, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Local Chief Executive, Hon. Luz E. Ricasio, with the Municipal Accountant, Madam Mel Grace F. Mercado, to discuss and receive updates regarding the ongoing construction of two additional classrooms for the school.
During the meeting, Sir Alzula expressed his gratitude to the Local Government Unit for its continuous support to the educational needs of the learners of Capalonga National High School. The discussion focused on the progress of the classroom construction project, which aims to help address the growing number of students and provide a more conducive learning environment.
Hon. Ricasio shared updates on the status of the construction and reaffirmed the commitment of the Local Government Unit to support programs and projects that benefit the school community. The additional classrooms are expected to significantly help improve classroom accommodation and enhance the delivery of quality education to the learners.
