The Department of Labor and Employment ( DOLE) under the Leadership of Mrs. Genebelle B. Bal, the Field Office Head of DOLE Surigao del Sur successfully conducted the Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) last May 9, 2024, starting around 10 in the morning at the Multi-Purpose Hall of SMCCI. The Program was participated by the College Graduating Students and TESDA Diploma Completers.

The LEGS seminar aims to prepare students and provide essential information on the fundamental rights of workers in the labor force, this includes a lecture on basic labor relations, general labor standards, and appropriate minimum wages per region and sector.

The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Anthony R. Dumapias, RN, Labor and Employment Officer III ( Labor Inspector ) along with the presence of the College Dean, Dr. Frantor B. Fernandez, Student Affairs and Services Head, Mrs. Marie Angeli Y. Jadloc, MAST and Ms. Coneygrace P. Blasquez, LPT, the Assistant Guidance Coordinator.

The Guidance Center invites you to join the SCHOOL-BASED JOB FAIR 2024 on May 10, 2024 (Friday) from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Maalman Christian Community Center ( MCCC).

This activity is in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).

🟢 Please come before 8:00 AM for your attendance.
🟢Bring at least two (2) copies of your résumé application letter and other credentials ; and
🟢Be in your business attire.

UPCAT 2025 APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
for incoming new first-year students for AY 2025-2026.

Applicants must submit their Form 1 from 15 April to 15 May 2024 to take the exam on 10 to 11 August 2024. Current Grade 11 students, who are expected to be in Grade 12 at the time of the UPCAT, are eligible to apply.

Schools must fill out and confirm their students in the Form 2A portal from 15 April to 22 May 2024, for the applicants to be released their test permit in July.

Applicants must then revisit the portal after the exam in August 2024, to fill out their grades for Grades 8 to 11 in the Form 2B portal and submit the hard copy of their SF-10 or Student Permanent Record to the UP Office of Admissions located inside UP Diliman, Quezon City.
