Ipinagdiriwang ng 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 ang ikalawang linggo ng pagpapahalaga sa wika, pag-unlad, at kasaysayan ngayong araw ng 𝘓𝘶𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝘈𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘰 10, 2026.

Bago ang seremonya, buong-pusong nagdarasal ang lahat, isang paraan upang hubugin ang ating pananampalataya at nagsi-awitan ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at mga nagtatrabaho sa paaralan na nagpapakita sa pagkakakilanlan ng ating bansa. Ginawa rin ang pagbigkas sa iba’t ibang mga panata na siyang isasapuso at isasabuhay. Pagkatapos nito ay gumawa ng anunsiyo si 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖. 𝗔𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮, isang paraan ng pagsasaayos at pagpapaunlad ng paaralan.

Nagsimula ang seremonya sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng isang nakakaaliw na trivia nina 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗺 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦. 𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻 at 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗻 𝗣. 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗻 at lalo pang pinasaya ng mga papremyo na siya ring sinundan ng pagbigay ng panibagong trivia question para sa linggong ito. Isinagawa rin ang pagtatawag ng mga g**o sa mga mag-aaral na napili, nanalo, at tumumpak sa trivia question na ibinigay noong nakaraang linggo. Ito rin ay nagdala ng kasiyahan at galak sa lahat, lalo na’t mayroon din itong mga gantimpala.

Sa araw ring ito, ang lahat ay nakasuot ng kasuotang Mindanao upang bigyang-halaga ang tradisyon at identidad ng timog na bahagi ng bansa. Kaakibat nito ang handog na presentasyong sayaw ng piling mga estudyante na nasa ika-10 na baitang, isang repleksiyon ng hindi kumukupas na kagandahan ng Mindanao pati na rin ang pagyakap sa modernisasyon. Kasunod nito, nag-alay ng isang spoken poetry si 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗵𝗮𝗺𝘆𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗿, ang sagisag ng walang kupas na talento at pagmamahal sa bayan.

Lagi’t lagi, piliin nating pahalagahan ang sariling-atin. Ang mayroon tayo ngayon ay hindi lamang isang magandang biyaya ngunit isa ring prinsipyong ipinaglaban ng ating mga ninuno.

Sama-sama, ating bigyang-halaga ang Mindanao, ang isa’t isa, at ang ating Inang Bayan. Mabuhay!

Araw ng Lunes, ika-3 ng Agosto, 2026, opisyal na ipinagdiriwang ng Jose B. Cardenas Memorial High School ang Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.” at Buwan ng Kasaysayan 2026 na may temang “Hinubog ng Bayan, Dinuyan ng Alon”. Sa araw na ito, ating pinapahalagahan ang sariling-atin—isang bagay na hindi dapat natin hayaang mawala lalo na’t ito ang ating pagkakilanlan.

Nagsimula ang araw na puno ng pagmamahal sa ating wika at kasaysayan, kaakibat nito ang pagsusuot ng mga estudyante, g**o, at mga nagtatrabaho sa paaralan ng kasuotang Luzon.

Sa seremonya, unang binigyang-halaga ang mga gawaing nagpapakita sa pagiging makabayan. Kasunod nito, nagsimula na ang programa na pinangasiwaan nina Ginang Chinie Mae T. Cario at Ginang M Rose F. Sebomit-Dugho. Mainit at maligayang inilahad ni Ginang Cherina C. Arquilita, ang punongg**o ng paaralan, ang Pambungad na Salita na sinundan naman ng pagsasalaysay sa tema ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 at Buwan ng Kasaysayan 2026 na ginawa nina Ginang Arcella B. Sarsaba at Ginoong Aaron Despi.

Natapos ang seremonya sa pamamagitan ng sayaw ng mga piling estudyanteng nasa ika-11 at ika-12 na baitang—isang simbolo ng talento at pagpapahalaga sa wika at kasaysayang ipinaglaban ng ating mga ninuno, pati na rin ang pagtanggap sa modernisasyon sa pamamagitan ng tamang paggamit ng AI. Huli, nagkaroon ng pagpapaliwanag ni Ginang Rosa V. Narciso sa trivia at pagbibigay ni Ginang Mary Angelie V. Narciso-Aso ng trivia question para sa linggong ito.

Sa pagdiriwang na ito, niyakap natin ang buong pagkakakilanlan ng pagiging isang tunay Pilipino. Buong puso nating pahalagahan at mahalin ang ating wika at kasaysayan habang pinipili ring tanggapin ang pagbabago at pagpapaunlad sa paraang tama at matalino.

Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang ating Wika at Kasaysayan! 🇵🇭

This Monday morning, the 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 community gathered for the Flag Ceremony to reaffirm our shared commitment to fostering a school environment built on kindness, respect, and peace.

As part of the program, students proudly showcased thoughtfully 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 bearing meaningful messages that promoted empathy, inclusivity, unity, and mutual respect. An interactive 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 activity was also held, encouraging students to actively participate by sharing what they knew about bullying, its harmful effects, and the importance of creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for everyone.

More than just a ceremony, today's activities served as a powerful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. Every word we speak and every action we take has the power to uplift others, strengthen our community, and inspire positive change.

May today's message continue to resonate beyond this morning's gathering. Together, let us choose kindness over cruelty, respect over judgment, and peace over conflict as we build a school where every learner feels safe, valued, accepted, and empowered.
