The one and ONLY Sir Via ❤️
𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 || 𝓥𝓲𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷: A Man of Passion, A Man with a Vision
Busiest days.
Sleepless nights.
Countless errands.
Never-ending brainstorming.
These were the things that defined the days of JBCMHS Physical Education and School Sports (PESS) Coordinator, Mr. Vincent Pascual R. Viason, in preparation for the conduct of School Intramurals 2025. Today, September 15, 2025, as the Closing Program of School Intramurals 2025 reflected the evident success of the activity, it is just and proper to spare a little time to get to know more about the man who led JBCMHS to this success.
Torches ignited as the spirit of sports burned bright as the students at Jose B. Cardenas Memorial High School gathered in the quadrangle with screams of excitement, filling all corners of the school with the essence of fun, friendship, physical prowess, and sportsmanship. This school event highlighted the expertise of one person, a person whose name is an everlasting signifier of passion and determination, a talented and artistic teacher fondly referred to by everyone as 𝓢𝓲𝓻 𝓥𝓲𝓪.
Throughout his life, he too was a student-athlete who had his fair share of struggles. Despite stepping on eggshells, he always believed the line, "If there are problems, there are solutions." His strong heart and resilient mentality helped him finish his education with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in MAPEH degree, all while being an athlete, proving yet again and again to the people around him his undeniable resilience and fighting spirit. His experiences in life molded him to become not only a person who loves healthy competition in many aspects of life but also a person who tries his best to teach young minds and help them shape their future for the better.
"I had so many sleepless nights because I always felt the pressure. As the PESS coordinator, I needed to double my time to prove to the students of JBCMHS that I can give them the best activities for intramurals," Sir Via shared. Even if he felt exhausted because of all the necessary preparations, as he was also Badminton’s Tournament Manager on top of his PESS coordinatorship, seeing the smiles and excitement on students' faces during the three-day intramurals made him feel that every ounce of love and energy poured on the activity was very much worth it. He emphasized that as the PESS Coordinator and as a MAPEH teacher, he just wished for the best experience for the students.
"I share my story with both students and student-athletes,” Sir Via shared, emphasizing that meaningful and inspiring words have a way of leaving marks on them that might serve as a motivation for them to transcend their limits and weaknesses and eventually become better versions of themselves, one step at a time. His story is a testament that in each one of us, there lies a fighter—one that must be awakened so we can make something out of our lives as students, athletes, and individuals.
That’s Sir Vincent Pascual R. Viason, a symbol of burning passion and a man of talent and determination.
That’s Sir Vincent Pascual R. Viason, whose drive to develop excellent student-athletes will never cease, a frontrunner willing to do everything for the best of JBCMHS.
