The Municipality of Candoni Rural Health Unit is pleased to announce a special event at Brgy. West, Candoni focusing on Family Planning, HIV Testing, and Adolescent Health!

As we come together to promote healthy lifestyles and provide essential health services for our community. The event was a great opportunity to learn more about family planning, and get tested for HIV, and access important adolescent health programs.

Returning to education later in life has profoundly influenced his perspective on health, particularly in terms of your awareness. This is Ismael Gododo, His commitment to learning about nutrition, mental well-being, and overall health has inspired you to prioritize your well-being and adopt healthier habits. Additionally, our discussions have shed light on important issues like HIV and AIDS, where he's shared insights on prevention, treatment, and reducing stigma. **Triumphant Sweep: CPSU-Candoni Student and Municipality Dominate Health Awards at Iloilo City Event**

Iloilo City, July 7, 2024 – Central Philippine State University-Candoni Campus student Mark Luie A. Libona, co-implementor of the "Alagaan ang Kalusugan ng Kabataang Pilipino" program, received the prestigious Rank 1 award for Best Performing Site among 12 sites. This accolade was awarded during the "Balikbayan: Isang Malaking AKKAP Para sa Bayan" event, underscoring the exceptional impact of the program on adolescent health.

The Municipality of Candoni was also recognized for its remarkable achievements, securing the 2nd Best Performing Site for Referrals to Adolescent-Friendly Health Facilities and the 2nd Best Performing Site for Demand-Driven Generation Events Reach. Additionally, Candoni was awarded Best Performing Site for Profiling Adolescents, further highlighting its dedication to youth health and wellness.

These honors reflect the outstanding efforts of Mark Luie A. Libona and the entire community of Candoni in promoting and enhancing adolescent health initiatives. Their commitment to the "Alagaan ang Kalusugan ng Kabataang Pilipino" program has set a benchmark for other municipalities and educational institutions across the region.

The awards ceremony, held in Iloilo City, celebrated the significant contributions of various sites and individuals in advancing the health and well-being of Filipino youth. I commend Ria Amar for her exceptional leadership as Edsoc Governor. Under her leadership, the organization reached new heights, thanks to her unwavering dedication and support for university programs especially on raising awareness and promoting health and well being among Cenphilians and Candonians. Ria consistently went above and beyond, generously giving her time and effort. In a very short period she had been instrumental in delivering diverse programs in the University such as free water for all during the soaring heat index days. Volunteering in Pregnancy and HIV awareness and rendering her valued time despite of the hectic schedule as a Bachelor of Elementary Education student, she made sure that students and youth leaders were given due time to pamper themselves through a seminar workshop about mental health awareness. She is an inspirational leader, consistently setting a remarkable example and continues to aspire to serve the community.
Additionally, Ria has been instrumental in raising health awareness and promoting the overall well-being of every youth in the Municipality. Above all these, she remained at the top of her class which truly radiates her character of being a potential leader and bearer of change. She is a testament that her generation has what it takes to make our community better.Her impact is deeply felt and greatly appreciated. Working alongside the entire Education Society is indeed a privilege.
