The English Language Society (ELS) participated in the Caravan held on September 15, 2026, at the RDET Conference Room, carrying the theme β€œMay Karapatan ang Kabataan sa Kanilang Kinabukasan.” The event highlighted the importance of empowering young people to become informed, responsible, and socially aware leaders. Through meaningful discussions and activities, youth leaders were encouraged to become more mindful of their rights and responsibilities and to have the courage to speak up and stand for what is right.

The caravan also emphasized that leadership is not simply about holding power or a position, but about service, responsibility, and integrity. Participants were reminded that the choices and actions of young leaders today can influence the communities they serve and help shape the future. For the ELS, the event served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen its commitment to youth empowerment and responsible leadership, recognizing that a leader who serves with purpose today can help create a better tomorrow.

Ngayong, Agosto 21, 2026, ipinagdiriwang ang "Araw ni Ninoy Aquino," isang araw na inilaan upang parangalan ang buhay, katapangan, sakripisyo, at kontribusyon ni Benigno Ninoy Aquino Jr. sa paghahanap ng kalayaan at demokrasya ng mga Pilipino. Ito rin ang ika-43 anibersaryo ng kanyang kamatayan.

Nawa'y huwag nating kalimutan ang kanyang sakripisyo, igalang ang kanyang pamana, at panatilihin ang mga simulain ng katapangan, nasyonalismo, at pagmamahal sa ating bansa.

Today upholds the commemoration of the culture, tradition, heritage, and most importantly the existence of our dear Indigenous People. Let us all give our deepest respects by giving appreciation of their history, acknowledging their contributions to our society, and to prestige their respective identities.

BAEL General Orientation 2026

Students from the 1st to 4th year of the Bachelor of Arts in English Language (BAEL) attended the BAEL General Orientation held at the AVR, CHED Building, ISPSC Main Campus.

The orientation equipped students with essential information from the Student Manual, particularly on academic policies and student discipline, including class attendance, absences, make-up work, special quizzes and examinations, grading policies, and disciplinary regulations. These guidelines serve as an important reference in helping students uphold the standards and expectations of the BAEL program throughout the new academic year.

The event also featured the presentation of the outgoing ELS officers, followed by the election of the new set of English Language Society (ELS) officers for Academic Year 2026–2027. In addition, the officers and staff of CAS Chronicles, the official student publication of the College of Arts and Sciences, introduced their organization and encouraged aspiring campus journalists to become part of the publication.

Here's to a productive and successful academic year ahead, BAEL! πŸ’œ
