The melodies may have faded, but their echoes continue to resonate in our hearts.

𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗚 was more than a musical recital, it was the culmination of months of learning, discipline, and artistic growth. As the culminating showcase of the Art Apprenticeship I and II students of the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education program, the event celebrated the transformative power of music and the arts. Through every note played, every harmony shared, and every performance rendered, the apprentices demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and values cultivated throughout their immersive learning journey with the Candon City Music Program.

This meaningful undertaking would not have been possible without the unwavering support and guidance of the individuals who nurtured our growth. We extend our deepest gratitude to 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗼𝗻, City Mayor of Candon; 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗿𝗼, Head of the Tourism Office of Candon City; 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗘. 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗱𝗼, Cultural Director of ISPSC; 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮, Dean of College of Teacher Education; 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗘. 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝘇𝗺𝗮𝗻, Instructor and Program Head of the Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education Program; and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼, Instructor of Apprenticeship I and Program Head of the Bachelor of Secondary Education Program.

We likewise offer our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated mentors and artists of the Candon City Music Program whose expertise transformed every rehearsal into a meaningful learning experience: 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗖. 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻, Music Director; 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗼 𝗥. 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮, Head of the Strings Department; 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗚. 𝗢𝗯𝗿𝗮, Assistant Music Director for Orchestra and Department Head for Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion; 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗔. 𝗚𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴, Assistant Music Director for Choirs and Artistic Director of the Candon City Chorale; 𝗔𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗚. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗮
, Violin Mentor; 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗟. 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮, Double Bass Mentor; and 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜. 𝗔𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻, Voice Mentor and Conductor of the Candon City Children's Choir.

To our mentors, supporters, families, and audience members—agyaman kami unay. The lessons learned through Art Apprenticeship I and II extend far beyond the stage, reminding us that music is not merely performed; it is shared, lived, and passed on. May the spirit of Samiweng continue to inspire future artists to pursue excellence, preserve culture, and let their talents become instruments of service and expression.
