ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Abra
📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in view of the Heavy Rainfall Warnings issued by PAGASA relative to the continuous heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 18 August 2026.

Agencies delivering basic and health services, disaster preparedness/response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services. Alternative learning modes shall be implemented for classes at all levels in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

PARIOC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NAGSAGAWA NG 'ZUMBA FOR A CAUSE' PARA SA MGA MAG-AARAL

FLASH NEWS — Isang masiglang pagkilos para sa kalusugan at edukasyon ang ginanap sa Candon City matapos ianunsyo ng Parioc Elementary School ang paglulunsad ng kanilang Year 3 "Zumba for a Cause." Ang naturang pampublikong kaganapan ay naganap ngayong Agosto 14, 2026 sa Parioc Elementary Hall.Nagsimula ang programa sa ganap na 4:00 ng hapon.

Ang pangunahing layunin ng gawaing ito ay ang makalikom ng pondo na gagamitin para sa pagbili ng mga bagong kagamitang pampalakasan (sports equipment) at sa pagsuporta sa iba't ibang mga programa ng paaralan para sa kapakanan ng kanilang mga mag-aaral. Sa pamamagitan ng temang "One Team, One Dream, Stronger Together," buong-pusong inanyayahan ng pamunuan ng paaralan ang buong komunidad na makiisa, sumayaw, at magbahagi ng tulong upang magkasama nilang maitaguyod ang mas magandang kinabukasan para sa mga kabataan.

Parioc Elementary School, Nagbukas ng Taunang Intramurals 2026

PARIOC, CANDON CITY — Masiglang binuksan ng Parioc Elementary School ang taunang Intramurals nitong Lunes, Agosto 3, 2026, ganap na ika-4:00 ng hapon. Nagsama-sama ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at mga magulang sa palaruan ng paaralan upang saksihan ang makulay na pagbubukas ng palaro na naglalayong linangin ang pakikipagkapwa, disiplina, at sportsmanship ng mga kabataan.

Nagsimula ang programa sa isang masayang pagbati mula sa Punong g**o at sinundan ng pormal na pagpapakilala sa mga kupunan na pinamunuan ng sports coordinator ng paaralan.Kasunod ang taos-pusong panunumpa ng sportsmanship na pinangunahan ng atleta mula sa badminton team na si Neicole Faith F. Gadia para sa patas at maayos na pakikipagpalakasan.

Matapos ang pormal na deklarasyon ng pamunuan ng paaralan sa pagbubukas ng palaro, opisyal nang nagsimula ang magkakasunod na palakasan sa larangan ng athletics, ball games, at mga larong pinoy. Inaasahang magpapatuloy ang masiglang tagisan ng galing at sigla ng iba't ibang koponan sa mga susunod na araw upang tanghalin ang mga bagong kampeon ng paaralan.
