📢 GOOD NEWS FOR THE RESIDENTS AND BUSINESS COMMUNITY OF CANDON CITY! ⚡

The Ilocos Sur Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ISECO) is pleased to announce that the construction of the distribution power line along the eastern side of the Diversion Road near the Ilocos Sur Medical Center has officially received the approval of the City Government of Candon under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Eric D. Singson.

This long-awaited project will pave the way for the extension of reliable and stable electric service to residents, entrepreneurs, and prospective business establishments located along the eastern portion of the diversion road. The new distribution line is expected to support the growing demand for electricity in the area and contribute significantly to local economic development and improved quality of life.

ISECO extends its sincere gratitude to Mayor Eric D. Singson and the City Government of Candon for their support and prompt approval of this vital infrastructure project. Their commitment to development and public service continues to help bring essential services closer to the people.

Construction activities will commence in accordance with established engineering standards, safety regulations, and applicable government requirements.

📢 ORIENTATION AND TRAINING PLAN PREPARATION FOR DOLE JOBSTART PROGRAM

The orientation and training plan preparation for the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) JobStart Philippines Program was successfully conducted, bringing together partner stakeholders committed to empowering the youth through employment opportunities and skills development.

The activity provided an overview of the JobStart Program, highlighting its goal of enhancing the employability of young Filipinos by equipping them with life skills, technical skills, and work readiness competencies. Participants were also oriented on the program's implementation process, responsibilities of partner institutions, and the preparation of training plans to ensure effective delivery of learning interventions.

Through collaborative discussions and planning sessions, stakeholders strengthened their commitment to creating meaningful pathways for employment and career growth for JobStart beneficiaries.
