The oath has been taken. The responsibility begins.

Familiar and new faces in student leadership enter the system. As they take their seats in this office, they carry more than titles, papers, and laptops in hand—they carry the responsibilities entrusted to them and the confidence that the CSU community has placed in their hands.

They carry with them a profound CStizen identity: the courage to evolve with every iteration, the mind to innovate through algorithms, and the responsibility to serve the CSU community with transparency and purpose.

The office is now theirs to lead.
The responsibility is theirs to carry.
The service is theirs to give.

And in the name of service to the Computing Studies Unit and beyond, they now begin their term—with purpose, with courage, and with commitment.

On 23 July 2026, the newly elected class officers of the Computing Studies Department participated in the election process for the Computing Studies Students Organization (CSSO), a fair and transparent exercise that affirmed student voice and democratic practice on campus.

Through careful evaluation of candidates’ platforms, voting, and respectful deliberation, the new CSSO officers for Academic Year 2026 - 2027 were chosen. This event exemplified commitment to democratic governance, student representation, and accountable leadership.
