Strengthening trusted barangay records and advancing climate-responsive planning through a two-day capacity-building workshop for the 21 Barangay Secretaries of Candijay. This workshop integrates data privacy, climate literacy, and hands-on digital encoding to produce clean, usable datasets for local decision-making. ✅

Anchored on the SUBACDA MOA (LGU Candijay x BISU) and aligned with CHED CMO 52, this activity is guided by AMPING TEKNOLOHIYA - care, protection, and accountability, supporting SDGs 16, 9, 11, 12, and 13. 🌍📊

Empowering a faster, cleaner, and more transparent public market operation through digitization. ✅

This session brings two key outcomes in one:
1. Information Dissemination for Market Vendors: what TABO is, how it works, and what changes to expect; and
2. Hands-on User Training for LGU Implementers: vendor onboarding, daily collections, receipting, end-of-day balancing, and report generation.

Anchored on AMPING TEKNOLOHIYA (BSCS) and aligned with the SUBACDA MOA, TABO supports better governance and inclusive service delivery, advancing SDG 16, 9, 8, 11, and 10.

The Carood Youth Camp 2025 united SK leaders from seven municipalities in a powerful three-day journey, held from November 14–16, 2025 at Campsite, Mabini, Bohol, dedicated to learning, leadership, and environmental action. Through mangrove planting, tree growing, and the formation of the Union of Carood Youth Organization (UCYO), the youth strengthened their commitment to protect the Carood watershed. Together, they stand empowered, inspired, and ready to lead a more sustainable and resilient future for Bohol. 🌿💚

On November 12, 2025, the Amping Negosyo: Profit Sharing Training-Workshop in Candijay Gymnasium equipped participants with practical strategies to maximize business profits and ensure fair sharing among stakeholders. Organized in partnership with DSWD and LGU Candijay, the workshop featured interactive sessions led by Mrs. Dominica M. Balili, complemented by insights from Mayor Thamar Olaivar and Extension Director Dr. Rosario N. Piloton. Entrepreneurs left inspired, knowledgeable, and ready to grow their businesses sustainably!"

"Going Digital, Going Smart! 💳✨
BISU Candijay Campus, together with DSWD and LGU Candijay, successfully hosted 'Empowering Smart Transactions: Digital Wallet 101' on November 12, 2025, at Candijay Gymnasium, Poblacion, Candijay, Bohol. Participants gained hands-on knowledge on secure and efficient digital transactions, guided by Dr. Rosario N. Piloton and MIS Director Rodelou G. Tuyor. The workshop strengthened digital literacy, promoted responsible financial practices, and empowered the community to confidently embrace the digital economy.

🌿 Building Nutrition-Sensitive Communities, One Training at a Time! 💚

The Extension Unit of Bohol Island State University – Candijay Campus successfully conducted the BIDANI Trainers’ Training on August 18–22, 2025, at Acacia Inn, Poblacion, Candijay, Bohol, spearheaded by Dr. Rosario N. Piloton, Extension Director.

This 5-day capacity-building initiative aimed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of trainers in implementing community-based and nutrition-sensitive development programs under the BIDANI Network Program.

Participants from various BISU campuses and UP Visayas, Iloilo actively engaged in interactive sessions led by distinguished resource speakers from UPLB-BIDANI, including Dr. Clarissa B. Juanico, Ms. Jaidee P. Agne, Ms. Pamela A. Gonzales, Ms. Denise June A. Castor, Ms. Jomaica Yvonne R. De Joya, Ms. Katrina F. Baluyot, King Niño B. Manzano, and Jessica C. Tonio.

Throughout the week, participants gained valuable insights on:
