Remembering the life of Benigno Aquino Jr.

𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟯

Today, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, we commemorate 𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗬 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗗𝗔𝗬 that marks not just a death anniversary but the moment awakened a nation. On this day in 1983, former senator 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙤 “𝙉𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮” 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙅𝙧. was assassinated at the Manila International Airport (now NAIA) shortly after getting exile, ready to fight for our country's freedom. His sacrifice became the spark that united the Filipinos and eventually led to the historic 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, restoring democracy to our beloved country after 9 long years of dictatorship by former president Ferdinand Marcos.

Ninoy said “𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿”, So let us remember that there's a hero from the past that shows us what courage can do. We must ask ourselves, What are we willing to do for our country? So never take our freedom for granted and may we always stand for what is right, just, and humane. ✊🏻❤️‍🔥

Halina't makiisa sa aming selebrasyon na may temang:
"Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon."

Ngayong darating na Agosto 22, tunghayan natin ang makasaysayang pagtatagpo ng tradisyon at inobasyon. Sa ating selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika, tuklasin natin kung paano ang Wikang Filipino, kapares ang kapangyarihan ng AI, ay nagsisilbing susi sa mas malalim na pananaliksik at pintuan patungo sa walang-hanggang karunungan. Ating kilalanin ang mahalagang papel ng ating pambansang wika sa makabagong teknolohiya at kung paano ito nagpapayaman sa ating kaalaman. Samahan niyo kaming buksan ang bagong kabanata ng ating wika!

Ngayong ika-𝟭𝟰𝟴 na kaarawan ng pigura sa likod ng tagumpay ng wikang Filipino, sariwain natin ang mga naging ambag at makulay na buhay ni G. Manuel Quezon. 🇵🇭

Si Quezon ay ipinanganak noong ika-𝟭𝟵 ng 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 taong 𝟭𝟴𝟳𝟴 sa Baler, Aurora at isa sa mga prominenteng muka sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas. Noong 1935, naglingkod siya sa Pilipinas bilang ikalawang Presidente ng bansa, sumunod kay Emilio Aguinaldo. Siya rin ang unang presidente ng konstitusyong Commonwealth ng Pilipinas. Isa si Quezon sa nagsulong upang makamit ng Pilipinas ang ganap na Soberanya mula sa Estados Unidos. Nanguna siya sa pagbalangkas ng 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝘄 noong 1916 at 𝗧𝘆𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀-𝗠𝗰𝗗𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁 noong 1934—mga legal na basehang bumuo sa Commonwealth, at kalaunay nagbigay sa Pilipinas ng kalayaan mula sa Amerika. Bukod pa rito, kinilala rin si Quezon bilang 𝘼𝙢𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙖 matapos italaga ang Tagalog bilang basehan ng wikang pambansa ng Pilipinas, muka na rin ng sari-saring wika at dayalektong nagpapayaman sa ating mga rehiyon. Sa panahon din ni Quezon, naipamalas ang kanyang pagka-malasakit nang buksan niya ang Pilipinas upang tanggapin ang ilang daang Europeyong Hudyo na tumatakas mula sa atrosidad ng mga Aleman nung ikalawang digmaang pandaigdigan.

Sa kasalukuyan, bahagi ng pag-alala natin sa mga ambag ni Quezon ang pagdiriwang sa ika-𝟭𝟵 ng 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 bilang kaniyang araw—sa bisa na rin ng 𝗥𝗔 𝗡𝗼. 𝟲𝟳𝟰𝟭 na nagde-deklara sa araw na ito bilang special working Holiday sa Pilipinas. Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay hindi lamang upang alalahanin ang kaniyang kapanganakan o sariwain ang kaniyang mga dakilang gawa. Isa itong pagpapa-alala ng layo ng ating tinakbo at tatakbuhin pa palayo sa mga atrosidad ng nakaraang nagbabagong porma lamang sa kasalukuyan. Isa itong paalala ng mga sakripisyong nagawa na natin upang maging malaya at huminga sa paraang nagagawa natin ngayon. Isang tagubilin na ang kayamanang iniwan sa atin ni Quezon, at ng iba pa ay dapat nating panghawakan at ingatan. Ang kayamanang iyon ay 𝙠𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙖𝙣. ✊🏻✨

ANNOUNCEMENT | Araw ng Candelaria Celebration

In celebration of Araw ng Candelaria and in accordance with Municipal Executive Order No. 038, s. 2026, please be informed of the following schedule adjustment on August 5, 2026 (Wednesday):

📌 Basic Education Department – Classes will follow a half-day schedule.
📌 College Department – Classes will shift to asynchronous learning.
📌 All Office Transactions – Operations will be suspended and will resume the following day.

Everyone is encouraged to take note of these adjustments and plan accordingly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
