𝐑𝐞𝐝-𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲.

Red-Tailed Hawks soared above the competition after dominating the P*S Palaro 2026 overall standing held on September 9, securing the championship with 11 gold, five silver, and four bronze medals.

Meanwhile Golden Eagles followed with seven gold, four silver, and four bronze medals, while the Emerald Parrots finished with five gold, seven silver, and four bronze medals. Blue Falcons completed the standings with four gold, seven silver, and five bronze medals.

𝐏𝐈𝐒 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞

“An opportunity to learn and be more upgraded.”

This was how the Pamibian Integrated School (P*S) teachers lauded its first In-Service Training for the school year that was part of the activities scheduled on the End Block held last Sept. 10-11, first day of which was made virtual due to the suspension of in-person work because of heavy rains announced by Malacañang. Day two was held face-to-face as the weather gradually eased.

Teachers commended the discussions, which they said were full of new knowledge and strategies that they may be able to use in their classrooms. They also appreciated the school’s initiative of making them more aware of the existing policies of the Department through the different released orders such as DO 15 and 16 that for them, were a huge help in dealing with their tasks as class advisers and subject teachers.

In addition, they also thanked the school administration for the chance to be heard with their department's accomplishments and needs through the PIR and Project Proposal presentation held in the afternoon of day 2.

P*S Principal III, Dr. Riza L. Tombaga, recognized the teachers’ active participation in the said INSET, which, according to her, made the said two-day activity more engaging with the successful end results. She said that she was also glad to see all the school personnel bond while learning and sharing experiences with their colleagues.

𝐏𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐨, 𝐚 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐒𝐇 𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐬

Pamibian Integrated School Principal III, Dr. Riza L. Tombaga lauded this year's Palaro as symbol of resilience and strength that for her can be a source of inspiration to moving forward despite any circumstance.

She said it after the school's experience of consecutive class suspensions due inclement weather brought by southwest monsoon that recently affected the province, pushing through alternative learning arrangements and school activity postponement.

Teachers and learners earned praise from the SH for their resilience and optimism which for her was best displayed on its opening of Palaro this year despite its cut in schedule and prepared activities.
