Reading is one of the most important foundations of a childโ€™s education. Recognizing the vital role of reading in shaping young minds and strengthening literacy skills, Mr. Leodegario Diaz Boongaling, fondly known as Tatay Luding, a generous and kind-hearted philanthropist, extended his support to schools across the municipality of Candelaria through the donation of age-appropriate reading books for Grade 1 to Grade 3 learners.
Pahinga Norte Elementary School is truly grateful to be one of the recipient schools of this meaningful initiative.

The donated books, entitled โ€œMoving On: Reading,โ€ contain engaging story passages and various reading activities designed to enhance learnersโ€™ reading fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and love for reading. More than just books, these are valuable tools that can open doors to knowledge, imagination, confidence, and countless possibilities.

The generous donation was received with heartfelt gratitude by the PNES School Administration led by Doc Cynthia J. Reyroso,Principal III, together with the Barangay Officials, SPTA Officers, teachers, and learners.

An orientation and introduction to the donated books was facilitated by HESED Representative Sir Jun De Gala, who highlighted the significance of maximizing these resources in developing the reading abilities of young learners.

Adding warmth and inspiration to the occasion was the message delivered by Vice-Mayora Zaide Boongaling, representative of the Boongaling family and wife of Hon. Ireneo Boongaling, Vice-Mayor of Candelaria. She emphasized the genuine intentions of Tatay Luding and the importance of community involvement in nurturing literacy and supporting the educational journey of children.

Indeed, this meaningful act of generosity reminds us that when a community comes together for its children, every page turned becomes a step toward a brighter future.
The entire Pahinga Norte Elementary School community extends its sincerest appreciation to Tatay Luding Boongaling and the Boongaling Family for this invaluable gift.

May your generosity inspire more people to join hands in building a community of confident, capable, and passionate readers.
Maraming salamat, Tatay Luding!
Your handog is more than a book, it is a gift of hope, opportunity, and a brighter future for every PNESian learner.

Pahinga Norte Elementary School proudly celebrates and honors two remarkable educators and leaders, Doc Arnold Mendoza and Doc Jay De Ramos Macatangay Jr., as they embark on new chapters in their professional journeys.

To Doc Arnold U. Mendoza, your years of dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to the PNES community have left a meaningful mark on the lives of teachers, learners, and stakeholders. As you begin your new journey as Principal I, may you continue to lead with purpose, compassion, and dedication. May the lessons and experiences you gained along the way serve as strong foundations for your continued success. Congratulations and best wishes, Doc Arnold!

To Doc Jaime D. Macatangay Jr., Head Teacher III, your leadership, guidance, and unwavering support have become an important part of the PNES family. Your dedication and commitment have helped strengthen the school community and inspired those around you. As you move forward to a new chapter, may you carry with you the lessons, friendships, and memories that made your PNES journey truly meaningful.

Behind every leader is someone who believes, guides, and inspires. We also recognize Maโ€™am Cynthia J. Reyroso, Principal III, whose leadership, mentorship, and unwavering support have been instrumental in shaping and inspiring the professional journeys of both Doc Arnold and Doc Jaime.

Her guidance and example remind us that leadership is not only about directing others, it is also about developing people, recognizing their potential, and giving them the confidence to take on greater responsibilities.

As Doc Arnold and Doc Jaime take their next steps, may the values, wisdom, and inspiration they gained from their experiences at PNES continue to guide them in their respective paths.

Two leaders may be leaving for new horizons, but the legacy they helped build will remain. Their service, dedication, and contributions will always be part of the PNES story.

This is not goodbye, but a celebration of new beginnings.

May your next chapter be filled with purpose, growth, meaningful service, and success.
Padayon, Doc A and Doc Jay!

Once a PNESian, always a PNESian!
