Bukal Norte ES Concludes Nutrition Month 2026 Celebration!
What an incredible month! Bukal Norte Elementary School officially wrapped up our Nutrition Month 2026 celebration on Friday, July 31. Throughout July, our learners, teachers, parents, and community members came together to champion healthy eating, active living, and holistic wellness.
Hereโs a quick look at how we celebrated:
Highlights & Memory Makers:
๐ฅ Bright & Early Parade (July 31):
We kicked off our culmination day at 6:30 AM! Led by SPTA President Mr. Benito Olimpia, our energetic learners, teachers, parents, and SPTA officers marched through the community.
๐ Zumba for a Cause & School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP):
Fitness meets generosity! The funds raised from our Zumba session went straight to BNESโs School-Based Feeding Program. Thanks to the teamwork of our teachers, parents, and stakeholders, we were able to prepare and serve delicious, healthy meals to 5 chosen pupils from every section across all grade levels.
๐จ Slogan & Poster-Making Contests:
Our talented learners let their creativity shine! Through artwork and slogans, students showed off their deep understanding of balanced diets, active daily habits, and overall health. Special thanks to our Principal, Ma'am Michaela R. Lubay, for serving as judge, and to Ma'am Jenette C. Lingao (Master Teacher I) and Ma'am Marishty E. Garcia (Health Coordinator) for guiding our young artists.
๐ โFruity Good, Fruit Dayโ in the Classroom:
Learning is sweeter with fruit! Teachers brought nutrition right into their daily lessons, using fruits to teach concepts like adjectives, descriptive writing, vocabulary, and propaganda techniques across different subjects.
๐ฑ Hands-On "Pinggang Pinoy" Meals:
Putting knowledge into action! During lunch, students brought and proudly presented their balanced Pinggang Pinoy meals, sharing with classmates why eating the right mix of Go, Grow, and Glow foods matters every single day.
A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, active SPTA officers, and wonderful community partners. Because of your help, health awareness turned into real, meaningful care for our children.
Let's keep nourishing healthy minds and bodies together, BNES family!
