The Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office conducted an official validation of the unfinished two-story, four-classroom building at Kinatihan I Elementary School on June 26, 2026.

School Head Richard Del Mundo welcomed the regional validation team, who inspected the site to assess its current structural condition and determine the next steps for its immediate completion.

The inspection is part of the government's effort to finish pending school infrastructure to address classroom shortages. Del Mundo expressed optimism that the validation will fast-track the funding and final construction of the building for the benefit of the learners.

โ€‹To ensure a safer learning environment, Kinatihan I Elementary School successfully conducted its "Basic Life Support and Standard First Aid Training" at the school premises on May 19-21, 2026.

โ€‹The program, spearheaded by Project LIGTAS Manager Ciena S. Pantoja and School Head Richard Del Mundo, provided hands-on training courtesy of resource speakers Hegi-Lyn Alcala, Fernando Umali, and Jerome Balmes.

โ€‹Participants included teachers, staff, student officers, and SDRRM leaders Councilor Ricky Pantoja (President) and Nestor Caberto (Vice President).

โ€‹Right after the graduation ceremony, a post-conference was held to map out future safety measures.

Kinatihan I Elementary School successfully conducted a school-wide Talent Workshop from May 11 to 15, 2026.

Spearheaded by Project MASAYA Manager Editha Perez, the five-day program was facilitated by Talent Coach Bryle Manaog, along with trainers Kurt Derecho and Patrick Sedan.

Throughout the week, parents provided active support through financial and food donations for the success of the workshop.
