𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 28, 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 1:00 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙤𝙣, work across all national government agencies, government-owned corporations, and state universities and colleges will be suspended so we can honor and celebrate 𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲. Declared under Proclamation No. 326, this special day reminds us that our families are our greatest treasure, and sharing meals and moments together is one of the most precious gifts we can give one another.

As we mark this occasion alongside National Family Week, let us set aside our tasks, gather around the table, and strengthen the bonds that hold us close. It is more than just a break from work it is a heartfelt call to pause, connect, and cherish the people who matter most. Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling ligtas at patuloy na sumubaybay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng paaralan para sa mga susunod na update.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro
📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
