‎This afternoon, our school went through a bomb threat scare. Thankfully, after quick action from the school administration, Barangay officials, and the Candaba Municipal Police Station (MPS), it was confirmed to be a false alarm. All students, teaching and non-teaching personnel are safe.
‎
‎Let this incident serve as a serious reminder that false threats and bomb jokes are never funny. They cause panic, disrupt learning, and waste the time and efforts of responders. Spreading any false information about explosives—whether said in person, sent through text, or posted on social media is strictly prohibited and punishable by law.
‎
‎Under 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟕𝟐𝟕, it is against the law to make or spread false information about bombs or explosives.
‎Anyone caught doing so may face up to 𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, a fine of up to ₱𝟒𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎, or 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡.

‎Let’s all be responsible and careful with what we say and share. Always verify the facts before posting or repeating anything.

‎Choose 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲, and 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 over clout or jokes.
