In celebration of the 2026 Nutrition Month with the sub-theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", various activities were conducted to promote healthy eating habits and environmental awareness during this whole week. These included my health plate making and poem recital.

Participants also joined fitness activities and clean-up drives to encourage active lifestyles and environmental responsibility. These activities strengthened the importance of proper nutrition, sustainable food practices, and caring for the environment for a healthier community.

Early this morning, Grade 1 and Grade 2 learners undergo Renal Disease Control testing activity as part of their health screening program.

Our school officially launched the Nutrition Month celebration through a kick-off program attended by learners, teachers, and school staff. With this year’s theme “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat para sa Lahat. Nutrisyon at Kalikasan ating pangalagaan.”

The event began after the flag ceremony, followed by a brief program highlighting the importance of healthy eating, proper nutrition, and active lifestyles.

Teacher Darwin B. Barcena- Master Teacher II initiated a trivia questions to the leaners, parents and teachers as well. On the other hand, Sir Resty G. Agustin led a simple dance work out to energize everyone. Inspirational messages and exciting activities encouraged everyone to practice healthy habits and participate in the month-long celebration. The kick-off program successfully promoted awareness of the value of good nutrition in supporting students' health, growth, and academic success.

2ND QUARTER National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

The school successfully conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) to enhance the preparedness and awareness of learners, teachers, and staff in responding to earthquake emergencies. Upon the sounding of the alarm, participants immediately performed the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and followed designated evacuation routes to the safe assembly area.

The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness, promote safety consciousness, and ensure that everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills during earthquake incidents. Through the active participation of the school community, the drill highlighted the importance of readiness and cooperation in safeguarding lives during emergencies.

SCHOOL CONDUCTS SCHOOL MAPPING AND HAZARD ASSESSMENT

To ensure the safety and preparedness of learners and school personnel, the school recently conducted a School Mapping and Hazard Assessment activity.

SELG Officers, under the leadership of Michael Jhon B. Baldos Jr. identified and mapped various areas within the school premises, including classrooms, evacuation routes, and potential hazard zones.

The activity aimed to assess possible risks such as flooding, falling debris, slippery pathways, and other safety concerns. The gathered information will serve as a guide in strengthening the school's disaster risk reduction and management programs.

Through this initiative, the school reaffirms its commitment to providing a safe, secure, and disaster-resilient learning environment for all.
