INSET 2026: Strengthening Teachersโ€™ Professional Development

The school successfully conducted the clustered school-based INSET in collaboration with the schools from San Gregorio ES headed by Mr. Cayetano Barcena-Principal III, Pidipid ES headed by Mrs. Nora V. Bugasto-Head Teacher III, and with the satellite school of Canan ES, Gongonot ES under the supervision of Mr. Jomar P. Brub- Principal I on September 10, 2026.

The activity provided teachers with opportunities to enhance their knowledge, skills, and teaching practices through meaningful discussions, sharing of best practices, and collaborative learning.

The INSET aimed to strengthen teachersโ€™ professional competencies and equip them with effective strategies to better respond to the diverse needs of learners. It also fostered camaraderie and collaboration among teachers from the participating clustered schools.

HINAY tayo CES!

Isinagawa ng paaralan ang pamamahagi ng mga learning materials bilang bahagi ng Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). Layunin nitong matiyak na ang bawat mag-aaral ay may sapat na kagamitang gagamitin sa kanilang pag-aaral kahit hindi regular na nakadadalo sa klase dahil sa pagsuspinde ng mga klase sa mga paaralan ng Abra dulot ng maulan na panahon.

Sa tulong ng mga kagamitang ito at gabay ng mga g**o, patuloy na nabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na matuto at makasabay sa kanilang mga aralin.

Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon 2026
Tema: "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalgaan!โ€

Tuwing buwan ng Hulyo, ipinagdiriwang ng mga paaralan sa buong bansa ang Buwan ng Nutrisyon upang palakasin ang kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral tungkol sa kahalagahan ng wastong pagkain at malusog na pamumuhay. Sa taong 2026, muling nagsama-sama ang mga g**o, mag-aaral, at mga magulang upang makiisa sa iba't ibang gawaing nagtataguyod ng mabuting kalusugan.

Sa pagdiriwang ng buwan ng nutrisyon sa paaralan, inimbitahan si Bb. Maryjune Adriatico, RND Nutritionist Dietician II ng National Immunization Program Coordinator ng Provincial Health Office Division upang magsalaysay tungkol sa wastong nutrisyon ng nga mag-aaral, kumain ng masusustansyang pagkain at higit sa lahat nagsilbing inspirasyon sa mga kabataan ng buong Canan.

Sa ating paaralan, naging makulay at makabuluhan ang selebrasyon sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang programa at paligsahan. Isinagawa ang poster-making contest, slogan-making contest, quiz bee, at healthy food exhibit na nagbigay-daan upang maipakita ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang kaalaman at pagkamalikhain tungkol sa tamang nutrisyon.

Binigyan ng parangal ang mga-aaral na nagkamit ng panalo sa ibat-ibang paligsahan sa pagdiriwang ng buwan ng nutrisyon.

Ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon ay hindi lamang isang taunang programa kundi isang paalala na ang mabuting kalusugan ay nagsisimula sa tamang pagpili ng pagkain at wastong pamumuhay. Sa sama-samang pagkilos ng buong komunidad ng paaralan, mas mapapalawak ang kamalayan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng nutrisyon at magiging inspirasyon ito sa bawat isa na pangalagaan ang sariling kalusugan.

Sa pagtatapos ng selebrasyon, baon ng bawat mag-aaral ang mahahalagang aral na kanilang natutuhan. Nawa'y maisabuhay nila ang mga ito araw-araw upang maging malusog, masigla, at handang harapin ang mga hamon ng kinabukasan.

Canan ES participates in National Disaster Resilience Month celebration

LGU La Paz conducted various activities to celebrate National Disaster Resilience Month. Today, learners from different elementary schools of La Paz participated in the Disaster Resilience slogan-making contest.

Angel I. Gayyed of Grade 6 proudly participated in the activity, showcasing her creativity ang commitment to promoting disaster preparedness. With her is the proud coach, Sir Resty G. Agustin who sacrificed his time practicing all day.

Despite the heavy rain brought by the Typhoon Kiyapo and power outage today, face-to-face classes continued as scheduled to ensure that learning objectives and academic responsibilities were met. Our School Head, Sir Jomar P. Brub-Principal I carefully monitored the weather conditions and implemented necessary safety measures to protect learners, faculty, and staff while on school.

In situations where weather conditions became hazardous, the school remained prepared to follow government announcements regarding class suspensions and other emergency measures.

Bilang pagpapakita ng pakikiisa at suporta sa sektor ng edukasyon, dumalo ang mga kapulisan ng MPS La Paz sa isinagawang Lingguhang Seremonya ng Pagtaas ng Watawat sa paaralan. Ang kanilang presensya ay sumasalamin sa matibay na ugnayan ng Philippine National Police (PNP), mga g**o, mag-aaral, at buong komunidad sa pagtataguyod ng isang ligtas, maayos, at disiplinadong kapaligiran sa paaralan.

Sa nasabing programa, nakiisa ang mga pulis sa pag-awit ng Pambansang Awit, panunumpa sa watawat, at iba pang bahagi ng seremonya. Nagbigay rin sila ng mensahe na naghihikayat sa mga mag-aaral na pahalagahan ang edukasyon, pairalin ang disiplina, at maging responsableng mamamayan at kanilang kanpanya sa anti-bullying sa bawat paaralan.

Ang ganitong gawain ay nagpapatibay ng tiwala at mabuting ugnayan sa pagitan ng kapulisan at ng komunidad ng paaralan, habang isinusulong ang kapayapaan, kaayusan, at kaligtasan ng bawat mag-aaral at kawani.
