The (TEC) visited Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on October 23, 2025, to explore its Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) program under the College of Education, a recognized Center of Excellence (COE) in teacher education.

The activity showcased TAU’s innovative curriculum design, effective program delivery, and hands-on training approaches that prepare future TLE/TVL educators. Insights gathered from the benchmarking will help reframe BTLEd specializations and strengthen the ongoing reform of the pre-service teacher education curriculum.

(2) Gear – Symbolizing technical skill, innovation, and the hands-on nature of TLE subjects, emphasizing the importance of industry-relevant competencies.

Specialization Icons – Representing the three major components of the TLE program:
