๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ | Regarding the Class Modality from April to May
After consultation, survey, and collective efforts of the Supreme Student Council together with the student body, the recommendation of the scheduled weekly shifting of class modality was deliberated upon today. While the proposal was firmly rooted in the genuine concerns, welfare, and expressed preferences of the students, it was not endorsed by the administration at this time.
In light of this, the university shall maintain the current class modality arrangement of one (1) day allotted for work-from-home or online learning and four (4) days for face-to-face classes, thereby preserving the existing academic structure while ensuring continuity in instruction.
We acknowledge that this outcome may not fully reflect the sentiments and aspirations expressed by many students, and the Supreme Student Council shares in the disappointment that comes with it.
Nonetheless, we stand by the importance of having raised and defended this recommendation as a legitimate expression of student welfare and academic concern.
The voice of the students remains at the heart of our mandate, and we remain committed to translating that voice into meaningful action moving forward.

At the request of the Supreme Student Council (SSC) and with the approval of the TAU President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, classes on 25 February will be conducted asynchronously. This shift honors the anniversary of the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, allowing the TAU community to balance academic responsibilities with a meaningful reflection on this pivotal moment in Philippine history. Also, regular University operations will continue, and all employees are expected to report for work.
This decision underscores TAUโs commitment to academic continuity and historical consciousness. We encourage everyone to uphold the values of democracy, freedom, and solidarity that define the spirit of EDSA.
