๐ข REMINDER ON THE CONDUCT OF STUDENT-LED RELIEF OPERATIONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
The TAU Administration recognizes and appreciates the initiative of our student councils, organizations, and student groups in supporting fellow students affected by recent events. These acts of volunteerism, compassion, and service reflect our students' social responsibility and are sincerely appreciated.
At the same time, we would like to remind all student groups that student-led activities, including relief operations, donation drives, outreach activities, and similar initiatives, still need to be properly coordinated and sanctioned by the University before they are conducted.
This is not intended to discourage or delay student initiatives. Rather, the coordination and approval process helps ensure the safety, security, proper supervision, and welfare of students participating in these activities, particularly when activities involve travel or are conducted outside the University.
๐ HOW TO PROCESS YOUR ACTIVITY REQUEST
To facilitate the process, student councils and organizations may initiate and process their requests online through Messenger. No need to personally visit the office to initiate the request.
Student organizers are requested to:
๐น Inform and coordinate with their Adviser/s;
๐น Coordinate with their College SSD Coordinator and Dean; and
๐น Forward the endorsed request and required documents to the Office of Student and Development Services (OSSD) for appropriate action and approval.
๐ REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Please prepare and submit the following:
TAU-OSSD-QF-13 โ Activity Request Form; and
Letter of Intent addressed to the University President.
๐ Please submit both documents in PDF format.
For your convenience, the TAU-OSSD-QF-13 Activity Request Form may be downloaded through the QR code provided in the accompanying poster. The activity request may likewise be encoded and submitted online through the corresponding QR code.
Student leaders and organizers are encouraged to coordinate as early as possible, especially for activities that involve travel, off-campus participation, or students representing the University.
We commend our students for their willingness to serve and extend assistance to others. Let us continue this spirit of volunteerism while ensuring that every activity is properly coordinated, supported, and conducted with the safety and welfare of our students as a priority.
