The University Library is currently conducting its annual inventory to ensure that all library materials are properly organized, up to date, and accessible to the university community.

The reading areas of the Filipiniana and Manuscript Section remain open until today. Beginning next week, all library services will be temporarily suspended to fully conduct the annual inventory and collection maintenance.

In compliance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the University President, the University Library Services will adopt a temporary four-day compressed workweek schedule from 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟵 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘁𝗼 𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠. Museums serve as spaces where history, culture, and knowledge are preserved for future generations.

As International Museum Day is celebrated around the world, everyone is encouraged to appreciate and protect the pieces of history that connect the present to the past.
