After the thorough conduct of the election process, the University Commission on Elections (COMELEC) officially announces the results of the TAU Student SSC and CSC Election SY 2025-2026 held on September 11, 2025.

๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ These results are based on the votes cast across 21 precincts situated in various colleges, carefully validated and counted by the COMELEC.

Congratulations to the newly elected student leaders, and thank you to everyone who exercised their right to vote! ๐Ÿ’šโœจ

We are pleased to announce the official list of candidates for the elective positions of the Supreme and College Student Councils for the School Year 2025-2026.

The election will take place on September 11, 2025 at your designated precincts per college from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Eyes here, Future Student Leaders! The Office of Student Services and Development formally announces the schedule for the election of College and Supreme Student Councils.

If you have desires to serve your fellow students, prepare now to run for student government positions.

Requirements:

FOR SSC PRESIDENT:
โ€ข He/She must be a third year or a graduating college student in the university
โ€ข He/She must have an experience in holding major or critical positions in student organizations or College Student Councils.
โ€ข He/She must be a Filipino citizen.
โ€ข With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 2.0 in College per semester since first year and with no failing and/or incomplete grades during immediately preceding semester.
โ€ข With good moral character.
โ€ข With no pending civil/criminal cases.
โ€ข Must be free from holding any position in other student organizations.

FOR SSC VICE-PRESIDENT:
โ€ข One is not a graduating student of any degree course.
โ€ข He/She must have an experience in holding major or critical positions in student organizations or College Student Councils.
โ€ข He/She must be a Filipino citizen.
โ€ข With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 2.0 in College per semester since first year and with no failing and/or incomplete grades during immediately preceding semester.
โ€ข With good moral character.
โ€ข With no pending civil/criminal cases.
โ€ข Must be free from holding any position in other student organizations.

FOR SSC SENATORS:
โ€ข One must have at least 1 year residency in the university
โ€ข One must have an experience in holding critical positions in student organizations or College Student Councils.
โ€ข One must be a Filipino citizen.
โ€ข With a General Weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 2.0 in college last semester and with a General weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 85 in High School and Senior High School, likewise, with no failing and/or incomplete grades during immediately preceding semester.
โ€ข With good moral character.
โ€ข With no pending civil/criminal cases.
โ€ข Must be free from holding any position in other student organizations.

*Number of Councilors per college depends on the population of the college. Five (5) councilors for the first one hundred (100) students, and additional one (1) councilor for every excess of two hundred (200) students.

We would like to inform all Student Government and Organizations that the Mass Induction shall push through on September 27, 2024 at 8:00AM to 12:00NN due to University Civil Service Celebration on our previously announced date.

All officers are enjoined to attend the event and take oath together with the advisers. Semi-formal attire is encouraged.

RESULTS ARE OUT!

After the thorough conduct of the election process, the University Commission on Elections officially announces the results of the TAU Student Government Elections held on September 19, 2024.

These results come from the votes cast in the 18 precincts situated in various colleges, carefully validated and counted by the COMELEC.

The University COMELEC shall also welcome protests/complaints starting this posting time until Monday, September 23, 2024.

WHO MAY FILE?

Any candidate who: (1) has duly filed a certificate of candidacy, (2) has been voted for the same office, and (3) has obtained the second or third highest number of votes.

WHERE TO FILE?

The election protest shall be filed personally at the Office of Student Services and
Development, located at the Alumni and Student Center.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

1. A formal letter expressing the intent to file a protest against the announced results.
The letter should be addressed to:
