‎📌 Symposium on Republic Act No. 11053 – The Anti-Hazing Act of 2018 🛑✨

‎On September 1, 2025, our school conducted a symposium about the Republic Act 11053 (Anti Hazing Act of 2018) which strictly prohibits all forms of hazing in fraternities, sororities, and other organizations in the Philippines.
‎
‎💡During the discussion we learned about the following:
‎
‎🎯 Hazing is any physical or psychological suffering. It also includes beating, humiliation, and many more.
‎
‎🎯 Initiation rites are permitted only if the organization complies with strict regulatory requirements.
‎
‎🎯 Participants, officer members, officer members, school officials, and parents are liable.
‎
‎🎯 Penalties includes life imprisonment, multi-million fines, and disqualification form public office and professional practice.
‎
‎✨ This law represents a crucial step in fostering a safe environment within the school community ensuring that no individual is subjected to inhumane or degrading treatment under the guides of tradition.

Last Friday, all officers of three organizations, YES-O, SSLG, and BERT together with their adviser gathered together at the covered court for the planning, crafting of project proposal, action plans 📝🌟 and an insightful webinar on environmental awareness. 🌳💡 The event shared meaningful discussions and inspired everyone to take action for a better environment. 🌎✨

YES-O Holds First Meeting to Set Environmental Agenda 🌱🌍

The Youth for the Environment in Schools – Organization (YES-O) 🌿 conducted its first official meeting on August 1, 2025. The gathering marked an important step in establishing the organization’s mission 💚, structure 🏗️, and long-term goals 🎯.

Student leaders and members 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓 discussed the organization’s vision 👁️, set priorities for the school year 📚, and outlined plans to raise environmental awareness 🌎📢 within the school community 🏫. The meeting also served as a platform to encourage collaboration 🤝 and active student involvement 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️.

YES-O aims to empower youth ✨ to take meaningful action for the environment 🌳♻️, starting within our school 💪🍀.

With the help of our STEM CLUB, cleaning became much easier! 🏋🏻‍♀️✨ Teamwork makes a great work 💯, kaya naman mag tulungan tayo na linisin ang ating paaralan. 🏫🌟 Let the learning continue with a cleaner and fresher environment! 🫧✨
