OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!

We have delivered on our promise made during the 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming last May 11, 2014 to effect the repair and complete tiling of the ceremonies stage.

We are happy to report that the project had been completed and was turned over in simple rites by the Project Chair, Ms Susan Nasol-Malubag and her team to the school principal, Ms Asther Murillo-Nicerio.

We would like to thank all the financial donors and supporters who have made this humble project possible, the alumni officers who have cooperatively worked together, the BES administration, our alumni association adviser, Ms Exela Vibar and most of all, the BES alumni community whom we have sworn to serve. You are the reason why your alumni association exists in the first place.

Congratulations to the team and Mabuhay po kayong lahat!. This is all for YOU.

Good morning BES alumni community!

We have done it!

Just a short note to thank everyone for a great job yesterday. Well done! Too many good deeds and names to mention here but from the bottom of our hearts (the organizers), we would like to acknowledge and recognize your magnificent individual and different batches' contributions to the success of our grand reunion event.

While we all appreciate the positive outcomes of our event, we also acknowledge the few negatives as well. It wasn't a perfectly-executed event and there were lapses in the planning and logistics sides. We promise to redouble our efforts so that we can present to you a better, more enjoyable grand reunion event in two years time. We will certainly learn from our mistakes and shortcomings. The newly-elected alumni association officers will ensure that we deliver on this promise.

Meanwhile, let us all spend a few hours, if not days, to rest our tired and ageing bodies from the effects of the hot and humid weather yesterday.

Will post the photos taken by our professional photographers the moment they become available.

We will also effect a full and transparent accounting of our financial activities very soon. In fact, there will be a quick meeting late this afternoon to discuss this before we all go our separate ways again.

Mabalos po and one great comment I heard yesterday was:...NABUKAG NGAYA AN BALIGANG because they have not seen one like this before.
Good morning and have a cheerful day all!

Question: Who are our batch organizers?
Answer: Please find below names who can be contacted for more details. They are all volunteers who have agreed to support our grand reunion event. In the absence of any organizer for your particular batch, just organize yourselves informally and register your name details on or before the actual grand reunion day. Hope this helps. See you all there BES alumni!

Simple guidelines governing the use of vehicles during the Motorcade:

1. Each batch to organize their own open truck (preferred) or jeepney.
2. Tarpaulins must be displayed on the front of the leading vehicle. Other decorations such as balloons, flowers, leaves, etc can be added.
3. In keeping with 'family-oriented' theme of the motorcade, no vulgar words or figures (like Tambaloslos) will be allowed.
4. Special prize for the best decorated truck will be awarded in the afternoon.
5. Special prize for the batch with the most number of attendees will also be given out.

Please be guided accordingly. Mabalos po!

Good morning po sa gabos na BES alumni!

So many positive news yesterday as far as the preparations for the motorcade. Without being "told or ordered to", different batches are now designing their tarpaulins, looking for trucks to use and thinking of what to use for the truck decors. Its all happening now and not just mere words.

Just to share some of the messages we received yesterday.

1. Batch 1989 c/o Rudy Iglesia Jr. and Ednor Navera

"Hi Tito. Most of batch 89 wont be physically present during the homecoming but we are organizing our batchmates who are still residing in baligang to join you on that day. We will shoulder their registration fees. So far we have accumulated 5kphp. Ednor Navera is in charge of collection of the fund and organizing our batchmates. Actually our plan to have a reunion last december did not push through due to different reasons. Just to let you know that we are working behind the scene and doing our part for this homecoming. Can i add you to our group for you to have a glimpse of what's happening? Hopefully we can organize just in time. Original plan was to donate lechon for the salo salo but then we were told that most of our batchmates are hesitant to join because they cant afford the registration fee thats why we decided to just spend it on the registration, rent of jeepney and tarpaulin"

2. Batch 1985 c/o Dindo Nabol

"Our batch is also printing a tarp to support the event and for the motorcade"

3. Batch 1987 c/o Alma Armario, Brian Moyo and Karen Villanueva

"Ask ko lang tabi kung during the motorcade bahala na kada batch san lulunadan. because i already told my classmates to look for a truck for the motorcade, lunadan sa batch namun"

4. Batch 2000 c/o Blessie Nares, James Marquez, Joly Nieva

"We are now in the process of deciding which tarp design to use, we will definitely participate in the motorcade"

5. Batch 1975 c/o Rick Nimo and Susan Malubag

"Yes, 'mate, I can do that. Btw, our batch '75 is also organizing a pre-reunion meeting by the weekend to discuss attendance and participation. I asked former Brgy. Chair Enar Morauda and Menvi for help and to contact those that are in Camalig".

6. Batch 1974 c/o Nancy Nuyda-Balunos and other Core Group members.

"We will definitely have our own tarpaulin and open truck for the parade---sigurado yan...complete with balloons"

7. Batch 1986 c/o Marte Naz

"We are in the thick of preparations, too. Hindi po magpapaiwan ang batch naming sa kasiyahan"

8. If I forgot to mention a batch...let me know asap.

Mabuhay kayong lahat!!!
