-TRAINING INDUCTION PROGRAM & ORIENTATION on Early Childhood Care and Development Services NC III

Solong Integrated Farm Training and Assessment Center Inc. (SIFTAC) officially welcomed two batches of Child Development Workers (CDWs) from Ligao City during the Training Induction Program (TIP) and Orientation for Early Childhood Care and Development Services NC III.

📍 Venue: People’s Hall, New City Hall Complex, Binatagan, Ligao City, Albay

The activity provided the trainees with important information about the training program, competency standards, requirements, expectations, and the opportunities that come with acquiring ECCD Services NC III.

LEARNING BY DOING | ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II

Our Organic Agriculture Production NC II (OAP NC II) trainees from the 3rd District of Albay continue to strengthen their knowledge and skills through hands-on and practical learning at Solong Integrated Farm Training and Assessment Center, Inc. (SIFTAC).

As part of their actual demonstration, the trainees performed and demonstrated essential organic agriculture practices, including:

*Potting Mix Preparation – learning the proper materials and process for producing a quality growing medium
*Seed Sowing – applying proper techniques in sowing and caring for seeds for healthy plant growth
*Bokashi Making – preparing an organic fertilizer to enrich soil and support sustainable crop production
*Parts of Small Ruminants – identifying and understanding the different parts of small ruminant animals and their importance in production

These hands-on activities allow our trainees to learn, practice, and apply the competencies needed to become skilled and productive organic agriculture practitioners.
