FIRE PREVENTION MONTH | March 2026

Every March, we observe the Fire Prevention Month to raise fire awareness and prevention. It is also a reminder that our safety is also our responsibility.

It reminds us to stay alert and be cautious at all times because fire can happen anytime. Simple habits like unplugging unused electrical appliances, checking electrical connections, and knowing how to use a fire extinguisher can prevent the unforeseen disaster.

Together, let us promote safety, preparedness and awareness for our home and our community.

Every woman deserves recognition for their crucial role in the society and in the community. Women deserve to be uplifted and praised.

🎊 Semirara National High School joins the celebration! 🎊

As proud members of our vibrant community, we danced, cheered, and showcased our talents during the Grand Parade of the Semirara Coal Festival 2025! 🌟

Our selected students shone with a colorful street tribal dance, guided by their trainer, as they prepare to compete on final day, December 13, 2025. Leading the way, our passionate teachers paraded alongside them, showing that SNHS is not just a school, but a heart of the community!

My warmest congratulations to our learners who have successfully passed the Computer System Servicing NC II Assessment. Your dedication, hard work, and perseverance have truly paid off. This achievement signifies your commitment to excellence and readiness for greater opportunities in the ICT field.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to:
🙏 BLGU Semirara, headed by Captain Catherine G. Lim, for the financial support provided to our learners;
🙏 Our Officer-in-Charge, Ma’am Maria Liza G. Lim, for allowing us to conduct the 6-day comprehensive training outside the campus and for her indispensable support in making this training possible;

To provide genuine rest and recovery to teachers and learners, the Department of Education (DepEd) has officially declared a four-day mid-school year wellness break for both teachers and learners from October 27-30, 2025.

Classes will resume on Monday, November 3, 2025.
