DID YOU KNOW?!

Before Jane Austen became one of the most celebrated names in English literature, her novels were published without her name on them! 😲📖

Her first novel, Sense and Sensibility, was published in 1811 as “By a Lady.” Her next novel, Pride and Prejudice, was also published anonymously as “By the Author of Sense and Sensibility.” 👀

During Austen’s time, women writers faced social expectations and prejudices that made publishing openly more difficult. Remaining anonymous gave Austen a degree of privacy while allowing her brilliant stories to reach readers. 🌸

As the rain continues to fall, let us take a moment to remember that God is always with us, even during difficult and uncertain times. There may be moments when we feel afraid, worried, or overwhelmed, but we can find comfort in knowing that we do not face our struggles alone. God gives us strength when we feel weak, peace when our hearts are troubled, and hope when everything seems difficult.
