First Quarter SOSA focuses on Literacy and Numeracy Skills of Pupils

With the theme: “Bridging Home and School: A Shared Vision for Success”, the 2025 State of the School Address (SOSA) was successfully held last September 16, 2025 at the Multi-purpose Hall of Bagong Silang Elementary School (4th Ave).

The SOSA is a comprehensive picture of the school’s current condition. It covers performance, resources, human capital, and facilities management, as well as the overall direction of school governance. At the core of every educational institution is the commitment to academic excellence, and all programs and projects of Bagong Silang Elementary School – 4th Avenue are geared toward achieving this goal.

The School Head, Dr. Melane Bacelonia Celeste presented the School Accomplishments, On - going Projects, Literacy and Numeracy Interventions and Activities of the school. She also discussed the Report in Reading and the new DepEd ARAL - Reading Program.

It does not only highlighted the school’s achievements but also reflected the spirit of collaboration among teachers, parents, learners, and the community in creating a nurturing environment for education and success. Standing hand-in-hand with stakeholders, Bagong Silang Elementary School – 4th Avenue continues to strive for global recognition in good governance and in molding functionally literate and God-loving Filipinos.
