On 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟏, we observe 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲, a special non-working holiday commemorating the 𝟰𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 “𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆” 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿. Let us remember his courage, sacrifice, and love for our country, and reflect on the values of freedom, democracy, and patriotism that continue to shape our nation.

Sa panahon ng tag-ulan, mahalagang maging 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼, 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 upang maiwasan ang mga panganib na dulot ng baha—lalo na ang Leptospirosis. 🦠

Iwasang lumusong sa baha kung maaari, magsuot ng protective gear kung kinakailangan, panatilihing malinis ang katawan at paligid, at agad na kumonsulta sa health center kung makaranas ng mga sintomas matapos ma-expose sa baha.

Due to the continued heavy rainfall brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), which may cause localized flooding and travel hazards, classes at all levels in public and private schools and work in government offices are suspended on August 19, 2026 in the affected areas.

Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in schools, unless otherwise directed by the respective Local Chief Executive. Government offices providing basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations.

Just like a TikTok streak, our suspension streak seems to be keeping the flame alive! 😭 While it may mean another day to rest and stay home, we also recognize that these heavy rains bring challenges to many of our classmates and families.
