Remembering Ninoy Aquino: A Legacy of Courage and Love for Country

Today, August 21, we remember former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino Jr., whose courage, sacrifice, and unwavering love for the Filipino people became a defining part of our nation’s history. His life reminds us that true patriotism calls for courage, conviction, and the willingness to stand for what is right, even in the face of great adversity.

As we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day, may his legacy inspire every Filipino, especially the youth, to value freedom, democracy, unity, and service to the country. “The Filipino is worth dying for.”

In light of the announcements from the Local Government Unit of Caloocan City and Malacañang Palace, face to face classes will still be suspended tomorrow August 20,2026 Friday due to inclement weather and possible risks such as flooding, hazards, and disruptions in transportation. All classes will shift to Online Learning Modality. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our Gabrielan community.

📌Also, please be informed that the Grade 12 Midterm Examinations will be rescheduled from Monday to Wednesday, August 24 to 26, 2026, following the original examination schedule given to the students.

In accordance with the advisory from the City Government of Caloocan, face-to-face classes in all levels, are still suspended tomorrow, August 19, 2026 (Wednesday) due to the prevailing weather conditions.

📌 All classes will shift to ONLINE LEARNING MODALITY (can be Synchronous, Asynchronous, and Modular).

Students are advised to stay at home, monitor their respective class group chats and Silid LMS for learning activities and instructions from their teachers.
