LCC Caloocan Unites for the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)
On June 18, 2026, La Consolacion College Caloocan, Inc. actively participated in the Second National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), reinforcing the nationwide initiative to strengthen disaster preparedness and earthquake awareness.
The exercise engaged the entire school community, including students, faculty members, and non-teaching personnel. The drill commenced with a simulated earthquake scenario, prompting participants to immediately execute the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. Following the initial alarm, everyone proceeded with an orderly and well-timed evacuation to designated assembly areas.
School officials and safety personnel closely monitored the exercise to:
• Ensure strict compliance with established emergency protocols.
• Conduct a swift and accurate headcount of all participants.
• Evaluate the overall efficiency of the evacuation route.
