Today, June 4, 2026, the incoming officers of the University of the East Tourism Society for A.Y 2026 - 2027, held their first official meeting—headed by the incoming 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥, together with their adviser, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐚 𝐑. 𝐋𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐫𝐚-𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐬, at the TYK, 3rd Floor, Research Room. The meeting focused on the organization’s plans, goals, and proposed activities for the upcoming Academic Year.

On April 6, 2026, the outgoing officers of the 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑻𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒎 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒚 were recognized at the Appreciation Program organized by the Student Affairs Office, honoring their dedication and valuable contributions throughout their term of service during the Academic Year 2025-2026.

The organization received appreciation for partnering with the University in the promotion of its curricular programs and admission of its freshmen enrollees, and for actively participating in the event titled “𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐒𝐎 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔” with the theme "𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞: 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞!”
