BRIGADA'S LAST HURRAH!
As Brigada Eskwela 2026 enters its fourth and fifth days, Vicente Malapitan Senior High School continues to make significant strides in preparing the campus for the opening of classes through the collective efforts of school personnel, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.
Various improvement activities remained ongoing throughout the week, including the repair and beautification of classrooms, the polishing and completion of the school's green line, the installation of railings in the school canteen, and the floor flushing activities in partnership with Barangay 178. These efforts contribute to ensuring that school facilities are safe, orderly, and conducive to learning as the opening of classes approaches.
The school likewise extends its sincere appreciation to the support and participation of the City Government of Caloocan thru the City Engineering Office for its donation of fluorescent lamps, which will contribute to better-lit classrooms and improved learning conditions. We also gratefully acknowledge Kgd. Francia Marzol for her generous support and contribution to the school's Brigada Eskwela initiatives.
Meanwhile, the continued distribution of bags from the Local Government Unit (LGU) remained one of the key activities during the fourth and fifth days of Brigada Eskwela. Through this initiative, learners received school bags as part of the local government's ongoing support for educational programs and preparations for the opening of classes.
Vicente Malapitan Senior High School expresses its heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, donors, community leaders, government agencies, and stakeholders who continue to share their time, resources, and expertise in support of Brigada Eskwela 2026. Your dedication exemplifies the true meaning of this year's theme, "Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaalaman at Kaayusan."
As the opening of classes draws near this Monday, the school stands more prepared than ever to welcome its learners back to a cleaner, safer, and more organized learning environment. The accomplishments of Brigada Eskwela 2026 serve as a testament to what can be achieved when a community works together toward a common goal.

BRIGADA THREE-PEAT
The third day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Vicente Malapitan Senior High School was marked by the continued collaboration of teachers, volunteers, parents, community partners, and stakeholders, all working toward a common goal of preparing the school for a productive and successful opening of classes.
The continuous cleaning, repair, and improvement of classrooms remained the primary focus of the day's activities. Volunteers and school personnel tirelessly carried out various tasks to ensure that learning spaces are safe, clean, and conducive to learning.
The senior scouts headed by Mr. Joeffrey Montenegro took the initiative of painting of the school's green line to help promote order, safety, and discipline within the campus.
Adding to the success of today's activities was the generous support of Councilor May Africa and Kgd. Eddie Sadik Arligue, who donated cleaning materials to aid the ongoing Brigada Eskwela efforts. Their contribution greatly supports the school's mission of maintaining a clean, orderly, and learner-friendly environment.
Another significant milestone marked the third day of Brigada Eskwela as the school officially launched Brigada Pagbasa, led by Mr. Raniel Dato-on, and Brigada Pagkuwenta, led by Ms. Mary Liezl Gorzal. These initiatives aim to strengthen learners' foundational literacy and numeracy skills, reinforcing the school's commitment to ensuring that every learner is equipped with essential competencies for academic success.
A special highlight of the day was the presence of the members of Gandang Malapitan, who generously provided free haircut services to our students. Through this meaningful initiative, our learners were given the opportunity to start the school year looking neat, confident, and ready to learn.
As Brigada Eskwela progresses, the combined efforts in improving school facilities, supporting learners' academic development, and providing essential services demonstrate that true bayanihan goes beyond physical preparation, it is a collective commitment to creating a better future for every learner.

As the cleaning and repairing of classroom starts, significant contribution was made by the fourteen deployed TUPAD workers who generously dedicated their time and effort in cleaning school premises, cleaning pathways, and assisting in the overall improvement of the school environment.
In the afternoon, Vicente Malapitan Senior High School welcomed the DepEd NCR Monitoring Team for a site visit and monitoring activity. The team was led by Engr. Epifanio A.
