Through this activity, we strengthen awareness, coordination, and readiness among our learners, faculty, and staff in responding to emergencies.

𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Yesterday, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, our Grades 4 to 10 students participated in the 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 (𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒) 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭. Students in Grades 7 to 10 took the Science and Mathematics assessments, while students in Grades 4 to 6 took the Science and Filipino assessments.

The assessment was administered to determine learners’ initial level of mastery and understanding of the competencies prescribed by the Department of Education. The results will provide valuable data that will help school administrators and teachers evaluate and enhance the curriculum, as well as develop appropriate intervention and remediation programs to further support student learning and achievement. Through initiatives such as the PASS Pretest, EDSCI remains committed to fostering academic excellence and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Escuela de Sophia extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Caloocan for their prompt response to the school’s request for fogging services within our campus.

As part of our continuous efforts to promote a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment, EDSCI coordinated with the LGU to implement preventive measures for the welfare of our students, faculty, and staff. Mahigit isang siglo na ang nakalipas mula nang ipahayag ng ating mga ninuno ang kalayaan ng Pilipinas, ngunit nananatiling mahalaga ang kanilang mensahe sa kasalukuyan. Sa panahong mabilis kumalat ang impormasyon, nagbabago ang lipunan, at humaharap ang bansa sa iba't ibang hamon, ang pag alala sa kasaysayan ay higit pa sa isang paggunita. Ito ay paalala na ang pag unlad ng bayan ay nakasalalay sa mga mamamayang marunong mag isip, makialam, at manindigan para sa tama.

Sa mga kabataan, nasa inyong mga kamay ang susunod na kabanata ng ating kuwento bilang isang bansa. Huwag hayaang manatili sa mga aklat ang mga aral ng nakaraan; isabuhay ang mga ito sa pamamagitan ng integridad, malasakit, at pananagutan. Ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang pamana ng mga bayani. Ito ay isang hamon sa bawat henerasyon na patuloy na mangarap, kumilos, at maglingkod para sa bayan.
